전주시는 18일 새빛장애인자립생활센터에서 장애인 정책의 현장 개선을 위한 ‘장애인 정책 현장 간담회’를 개최했다.

이 자리에서 참석한 장애인 단체 대표들은 △현장 중심의 복지서비스 확대 △복지시설 이용 접근성 개선 △일자리 지원 강화 등 다양한 정책을 건의했다.

시는 장애인들이 정책의 주체로 실질적 변화를 체감할 수 있도록 소통과 참여의 장을 넓혀가는 등 다양한 현장 간담회를 통해 실제 당사자들의 의견을 정책에 반영하기 위해 노력할 계획이다고 밝혔다.

At the event, representatives of disabled groups in attendance suggested various policies such as expanding welfare services centered on the field, improving accessibility to welfare facilities, and enhancing job support.

The city announced plans to make efforts through various field meetings to broaden communication and participation so that disabled individuals can tangibly feel the substantive changes as the main subjects of the policy and reflect the opinions of the actual stakeholders in the policy.
