완주군청소년수련관이 백제예술대학교 뉴미디어뮤직과와 연계해 운영한 케이팝(K-POP) 댄스 프로그램 ‘뮤직앤무브’를 성황리에 마무리했다.

이번 프로그램은 청소년들이 친숙한 케이팝을 통해 자신을 당당하게 표현하고 자존감을 높일 수 있도록 기획됐다. 방과후아카데미 참여 청소년 15명이 참여했으며, 이준희 백제예술대 교수와 재학생들이 강사로 나서 전문적인 지도를 펼쳤다.

특히 대학 혁신지원사업단 공모사업과 연계해 진행돼 지역사회와 대학 간 협력 모델을 구축했다는 평가를 받았다.

참가자들은 아이스브레이킹을 시작으로 기초 스텝과 포인트 안무를 익히며 뜨거운 열정을 보였다. 한 청소년은 “친구들과 호흡을 맞추며 자신감을 얻었고, 실제 무대에도 서보고 싶다”고 소감을 전했다.

서유진 아동친화과장은 “이번 프로그램을 통해 청소년들이 또래와 긍정적인 관계를 형성하고 정서적 공감의 가치를 느꼈길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역 자원을 연계한 다양한 문화·예술 프로그램을 지속 운영하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The youth training center in Wanju County successfully concluded the K-pop dance program 'Music and Move,' operated in collaboration with the New Media Music Department of Baekje Arts University.

This program was designed for teenagers to confidently express themselves and boost their self-esteem through familiar K-pop music. Fifteen teenagers participating in the after-school academy were guided by Professor Lee Jun-hee of Baekje Arts University and current students who served as instructors, providing professional guidance.

The program received praise for establishing a cooperative model between the local community and the university, as it was conducted in conjunction with the university's Innovation Support Unit's public project.

Participants showed great enthusiasm as they started with ice-breaking activities, learned basic steps, and practiced choreography points. One teenager shared their impression, saying, "I gained confidence by syncing with my friends and want to perform on an actual stage."

Seo Yoo-jin, the head of the Child-Friendly Department, expressed hope that through this program, teenagers could form positive relationships with their peers and experience the value of emotional empathy. She also stated, "We will continue to operate various cultural and artistic programs that utilize local resources in the future."
