전주시 어린이집연합회는 19일 전주시 완산구 중화산동 소재 음식점에서 회원 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026년 정기총회’를 개최했다.

이날 총회는 지난해 사업 운영 성과를 공유하고, 올해 보육정책 추진 방향을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사는 △2025년 결산보고 △2026년 사업계획 보고 △후원금 전달식 △보육 발전 유공자 표창 △어린이집 운영 발전 토론 순으로 진행됐다.

참석자들은 보육 현장의 다양한 의견을 공유하며 상호 협력 방안을 모색했다. 특히 연합회는 지역사회 나눔 실천의 일환으로 성금 300만 원을 전달했으며, 해당 성금은 전주지역 취약계층 아동을 위해 사용될 예정이다.

고철영 회장은 “정기총회는 회원 간 소통과 화합을 다지고 보육의 공공성과 사회적 책임을 되새기는 자리”라며 “앞으로도 신뢰받는 보육환경 조성을 위해 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

전주시 관계자는 “보육 현장에서 헌신하는 보육인들의 노고에 감사드린다”며 “현장 의견을 반영해 어린이집이 안정적으로 운영될 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 전주시는 올해 1세 영아 필요경비 사업비를 신규 지원하는 등 양질의 보육서비스 제공과 학부모 부담 완화를 위한 정책을 추진하고 있다.

The Jeonju City Kindergarten Association held its '2026 Regular General Meeting' on the 19th at a restaurant in Jungwasan-dong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju City, with about 100 members in attendance.

The meeting was organized to share the operational achievements of the previous year and discuss the direction of childcare policy for this year. The event proceeded in the following order: △ 2025 financial report △ 2026 business plan report △ donation ceremony △ commendation for contributions to childcare development △ discussion on the improvement of kindergarten operations.

Participants shared various opinions from the childcare field and explored ways to cooperate with each other. In particular, as part of their community sharing practice, the association donated 3 million won, which will be used to support vulnerable children in the Jeonju area.

Chairman Go Cheol-yeong stated, "The regular general meeting is an opportunity to enhance communication and harmony among members, and to reaffirm the public nature and social responsibility of childcare." He also expressed, "We will continue to strive to create a trusted childcare environment."

A Jeonju City official expressed gratitude to childcare workers dedicating themselves in the field, saying, "We will support kindergartens to operate stably by reflecting on-site opinions."

Meanwhile, Jeonju City is pushing forward policies to provide quality childcare services and alleviate the burden on parents, such as new support for operating expenses for 1-year-old infants this year.
