전주문화재단은 국가유산청과 협력해 오는 30일까지 ‘2026 전승공예품 악기은행’대여 신청자를 모집한다.

전주문화재단은 2024년부터 현재까지 국가유산청‘전승공예품은행 전승자 작품 구입’운영사업 민간위탁기관으로 선정돼 전승공예품의 구입·관리·활용 및 대여사업을 수행하고 있다. 국가유산청과의 협업을 바탕으로 전승공예품의 활용 기회를 확대하고, 국가무형유산 전승 활성화를 위한 다양한 사업을 추진하고 있다.

특히 올해는 전승공예품의 활용 범위를 확대해 국가무형유산 악기장 보유자와 전승교육사가 제작한 전통악기를 실제 연주와 전승활동에 활용할 수 있도록 ‘악기은행’을 새롭게 운영한다.

이번에 악기은행을 통해 대여하는 악기는 ▲가야금 4점 ▲거문고 4점 ▲아쟁 3점 등 총 11점이다. 대여 대상은 국가무형유산 전승자와 국악 관련 전공자 및 연주자 등 개인이며, 대여기간은 1년이다. 대여자는 신청자의 전승활동 실적과 향후 활동계획 등을 종합적으로 검토해 선정한다.

Jeonju Cultural Foundation, in cooperation with the Cultural Heritage Administration, is recruiting applicants for the '2026 Heritage Craft Instrument Bank' rental service until the 30th of this month.

Since 2024, the Jeonju Cultural Foundation has been selected as a private entrusted organization for the operation of the Cultural Heritage Administration's 'Purchase of Heritage Craft Items for Heirs' program, and has been responsible for the purchase, management, utilization, and rental of heritage craft items. Based on collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Administration, they are expanding opportunities for the utilization of heritage craft items and promoting various projects for the activation of the transmission of national intangible cultural heritage.

This year, they are launching a new 'Instrument Bank' to expand the utilization of heritage craft items, allowing holders of national intangible cultural heritage instruments and transmission educators to use traditional instruments made by them for actual performances and transmission activities.

Through the Instrument Bank this time, a total of 11 instruments will be available for rental, including 4 Gayageum, 4 Geomungo, and 3 Ajaeng. The rental targets individuals such as heirs of national intangible cultural heritage and professionals and performers in Korean traditional music, with a rental period of one year. The selection of renters will be based on a comprehensive review of the applicant's transmission activities, performance records, and future plans.
