아티스트 런 스페이스 ‘공간 산아가든’이 첫 번째 오픈콜 선정 전시인 <파동의 지도 Cartography of Waves>를 오는 20일까지 개최한다.

참신하고 실험적인 예술가를 발굴하기 위해 마련된 이번 공모전에는 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 엄소완, 유부자, 이현화(이원사물) 작가가 최종 선정됐다.

이번 전시는 다른 존재 및 환경과의 만남 속에서 생겨나는 관계, 감정, 기억의 흔적을 각자의 방식으로 기록한 작품들을 선보인다. 세 작가는 설치, 자수, 영상, 회화 등 다양한 매체를 활용해 자신들이 경험한 ‘관계의 파동’을 시각·청각·촉각적으로 전달한다.

엄소완 작가는 기억과 감정의 조각을 상상의 지형으로 재구성해 자연과 인간, 비가시적 세계가 순환하는 시공간을 탐색한다.

유부자 작가는 자연물과 버려진 사물 등 비인간 존재의 시선과 감각 방식을 시각화해 인간의 한계를 넘어선 새로운 존재와 환경을 제안한다.

이현화(이원사물) 작가는 문자 언어가 담아내지 못하는 감각에 주목하며, 언어·신체·물질 사이의 번역 과정을 영상과 텍스타일 등으로 기록한다.

정확한 좌표를 찾아 이동하는 지도 대신, 변화하는 관계의 흐름을 느껴볼 수 있는 <파동의 지도>는 무료로 관람할 수 있다. 관람 시간은 낮 12시 30분부터 오후 5시 30분까지이며, 매주 월요일과 화요일은 휴관한다.

The artist-run space "Gonggan Sanah Garden" will be hosting the selected exhibition until the 20th of this month.

In this open call competition aimed at discovering innovative and experimental artists, artists based in Seoul, Eom So-wan, Yoo Bu-ja, and Lee Hyun-hwa (Lee Wonsamul) were selected as the final participants.

This exhibition showcases works where traces of relationships, emotions, and memories that emerge from encounters with different entities and environments are recorded in each artist's unique way. The three artists use various mediums such as installations, embroidery, videos, and paintings to visually, auditorily, and tactually convey the "waves of relationships" they have experienced.

Artist Eom So-wan explores the spacetime where memories and emotions are reconstructed into imaginary terrains, where nature and humans, as well as the invisible world, circulate.

Artist Yoo Bu-ja visualizes the perspectives and sensory modes of non-human entities such as natural materials and discarded objects, proposing new entities and environments that transcend human limitations.

Artist Lee Hyun-hwa (Lee Wonsamul) focuses on sensations that language cannot capture, documenting the translation process between language, body, and matter through videos and textiles.

Rather than maps that find precise coordinates for movement, the allows one to feel the flow of changing relationships. The exhibition is free to attend from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM daily, with closures on Mondays and Tuesdays.
