원광대학교(총장 박성태) 대학일자리플러스센터가 지난 7일 전주생명과학고 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 ‘취업 디자인 성장캠프’를 운영했다.

이번 캠프는 고용노동부의 ‘고교생 맞춤형 고용 서비스 사업’의 일환으로, 학생들의 성공적인 사회 진출을 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 프로그램은 △직업‧적성 탐색 △진로 비전 설계 △미래직업 이해 △청소년 노동인권 교육 등으로 구성됐다.

학생들은 자기 이해를 바탕으로 직업군을 탐색하고, 취업 전략 강연을 통해 변화하는 취업시장에 대한 인식을 높였다.

참여 학생들은 “막연했던 진로가 구체화됐고, 자신감도 생겼다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 강지숙 미래인재개발처장은 “학생들이 건전한 직업관을 형성하고 성공적인 사회 진출을 준비하는 데 실질적인 도움이 될 것”이라고 말했다.

Wonkwang University (President Park Sung-tae) University Job Plus Center operated a 'Employment Design Growth Camp' for 1st year students at Jeonju Life Science High School on the 7th.

This camp was organized as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'Customized Employment Services for High School Students' program to help students successfully enter society. The program consisted of activities such as career and aptitude exploration, career vision design, understanding of future jobs, and education on youth labor rights.

Based on self-understanding, students explored career fields and increased their awareness of the changing job market through employment strategy lectures.

The participating students expressed their impressions, saying, "Our vague career paths became clearer, and we gained confidence." Kang Ji-sook, head of the Future Talent Development Department, said, "It will be a practical help for students to form a healthy view of occupations and prepare for successful social integration."
