전주세계소리축제조직위원회(조직위원장 이왕준, 이하 소리축제)가 오는 30일까지 2025 소리축제‘청춘예찬 젊은판소리’무대에 오를 젊은 소리꾼을 모집한다.

‘청춘예찬 젊은판소리’는 실력있는 젊은 소리꾼들을 발굴하고 차세대 소리꾼들의 무대 경험을 넓히기 위해 마련된 소리축제의 대표 프로그램으로 올해는 판소리 다섯바탕 각 바탕별(춘향가, 심청가, 흥보가, 적벽가, 수궁가)로 1명씩 총 5인의 소리꾼을 모집한다.

참가 자격은 1989년부터 2006년생으로 60분 이상의 소리가 가능하고 소리축제 일정에 참여가 가능한 소리꾼이라면 누구든 지원이 가능하다. 공연은 바탕별 60분씩 연창하는 형식으로 해설이 있는 판소리 공연 형태로 진행된다.

접수 기간은 30일 오후 3시까지이며, 참가신청서 및 개인정보동의서와 최소 15분 이상 30분 이내로 녹음된 소리녹음 음원 파일을 구글폼(https://bit.ly/4jlHU7R)으로 접수하면 된다.

심사는 해당 음원 파일을 토대로 판소리 전문가 3인의 블라인드 심사로 진행되며, 5월 9일 소리축제 공식 홈페이지를 통해 최종 선정 결과를 발표한다. 참가신청서 다운로드 및 자세한 사항은 소리축제 홈페이지(www.sorifestival.com) 공지사항에서 확인할 수 있다.

최종 선정된 소리꾼 5명에게는 출연료와 공연을 위한 장소 및 장비, 홍보 등이 지원되며, 올해 소리축제 기간(8. 13.~17.) 중에 펼쳐지는‘청춘예찬 젊은판소리’무대에 설 기회를 갖는다.

The Jeonju World Sound Festival Organizing Committee (Chairman Lee Wong-jun, hereinafter referred to as the Sound Festival) is recruiting young sound performers who will take the stage at the 2025 Sound Festival "Youth Pansori Celebration."

The "Youth Pansori Celebration" is the representative program of the Sound Festival designed to discover talented young sound performers and broaden the stage experience of the next generation of performers. This year, the festival is recruiting a total of five sound performers, one for each of the five basic Pansori stories (Chunhyangga, Shim Cheongga, Heungboga, Jeokbyeokga, Sugungga).

Eligibility for participation is open to individuals born between 1989 and 2006 who can perform sound for at least 60 minutes and are available to participate in the Sound Festival schedule. Anyone who meets these criteria can apply. The performances will follow a format where each basic story is performed for 60 minutes with explanations in the style of a Pansori performance.

The application period is until 3 p.m. on the 30th, and interested participants can submit their application form, personal information consent form, and a sound recording audio file lasting at least 15 minutes but no more than 30 minutes through Google Form (https://bit.ly/4jlHU7R).

The judging process will involve three blind judges who are Pansori experts evaluating the submitted audio files. The final selection results will be announced on May 9 through the official website of the Sound Festival. The five selected sound performers will receive performance fees, support for the venue and equipment for the performance, as well as promotional assistance. They will have the opportunity to perform on the "Youth Pansori Celebration" stage during this year's Sound Festival period (August 13-17).
