군산교육지원청(교육장 이성기)은 ‘2025 지역연계 학교예술교육 활성화’ 사업의 일환으로 관내 초등학교에 만들기 체험과 과학 공연 등 다양한 예술 프로그램을 지원한다고 22일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 군산 지역 예술 전문 기관과 예술인을 학교 현장과 연결해 학생들이 문화예술을 자연스럽게 접하며 창의적 사고력을 기를 수 있도록 기획됐다. 프로그램은 음악, 마술, 과학 공연과 함께 미술·공예·업사이클링 등 체험형 수업으로 구성되며, 학년별 맞춤형으로 운영된다.

교육지원청은 지난 3월부터 지역 예술처를 공모·선정하고, 각 학교의 신청을 받아 오는 5월부터 본격적으로 프로그램을 시작한다. 참여 학교는 교육과정 일정에 따라 오는 11월까지 활동을 진행하며, 이후 결과 보고를 통해 교육 효과를 공유할 예정이다.

이성기 교육장은 “지역 예술 자원을 학교와 연계해 학생들의 문화예술 경험을 풍부하게 하고, 공동체 의식과 감성지능도 함께 자라나길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Gunsan Office of Education Support (Director Lee Sung-ki) announced on the 22nd that as part of the '2025 Regional Integrated School Arts Education Activation' project, they will be supporting various art programs such as making experiences and science performances at local elementary schools.

This project is designed to connect regional arts institutions and artists with schools to allow students to naturally encounter cultural arts and cultivate creative thinking. The programs consist of experiential classes such as music, magic, science performances, as well as art, crafts, and upcycling, and are tailored to each grade level.

Since March, the Office of Education Support has been soliciting and selecting regional arts venues, and will officially start the programs from May after receiving applications from each school. Participating schools will carry out activities until November according to the educational schedule, and will share the educational effects through result reports thereafter.

Director Lee Sung-ki said, "I hope to enrich students' cultural arts experiences by connecting regional art resources with schools, and to foster a sense of community and emotional intelligence together."
