전북특별자치도의회, 제418회 임시회 개회…3,817억 추경 등 15일간 심사

전북특별자치도의회(의장 문승우)가 4월 23일부터 5월 7일까지 15일간 제418회 임시회를 열고 의정활동에 들어간다.

이번 임시회에서는 전북특별자치도와 전북특별자치도교육청의 2025년도 제1회 추가경정예산안(총 3,817억 원)과 각종 조례안, 동의안 등이 상임위원회별로 심사된다. 예산결산특별위원회는 상임위 예비심사를 거쳐 약 2,311억 원(도청), 1,506억 원(교육청) 규모의 추경안을 본회의에 보고할 예정이다.

첫날 개회식 이후 도정 현안과 예산안 제안설명, 유전자변형감자 수입 중단 촉구 결의안 등 주요 안건에 대한 심사가 이뤄진다. 5월 7일 제2차 본회의에서는 상임위에서 심사·의결된 안건과 대정부 건의안 등이 최종 처리된다.

문승우 의장은 “이번 회기는 올해 첫 추경 심사의 장”이라며 “민생경제 회복에 기여할 수 있도록 심도 있는 논의를 당부한다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Council (Chairman Moon Seung-woo) will hold the 418th extraordinary session for 15 days from April 23 to May 7 to engage in legislative activities.

During this extraordinary session, the 2025 first supplementary budget proposal for Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education (totaling 381.7 billion KRW) along with various ordinances and consent bills will be reviewed by standing committees. The Budget Settlement Special Committee is expected to report a supplementary budget proposal of approximately 231.1 billion KRW (for the provincial office) and 150.6 billion KRW (for the education office) to the plenary session after preliminary review by the standing committee.

After the opening ceremony on the first day, deliberations will take place on key agenda items such as provincial government issues, budget proposal explanations, and a resolution urging the suspension of genetically modified potato imports. On May 7, during the second plenary session, matters that have been reviewed and resolved by the standing committees and government proposals will be finally processed.

Chairman Moon Seung-woo stated, "This session marks the first supplementary budget review of the year," and emphasized, "I urge for in-depth discussions to contribute to the recovery of the people's economy."
