‘2025 새만금 관광활성화 사진전’이 지난 22일 개막, 다음달 11일까지 부안 국립새만금간척박물관에서 열리고 있다.

새만금을 주제로 한 이번 전시에서는 작품 속에 담긴 작가들의 마음을 발견할 수 있고, 전시장을 찾은 이들은 그들이 만들어 낸 프레임 안에서 새만금의 미래와 꿈을 만날 수 있다.

이번 전시에는 전국과 전북에서 활발하게 활동하는 성창호, 고정남, 이규철, 이원철, 김갑련 작가를 포함해 전주 ‘사진연구소1839(회장 임영실)’ 회원들이 함께했다.

참여한 사진가들은 새만금을 시각적 요소뿐만 아니라 스토리텔링을 강화하고 감각적 경험을 불러일으키는 이미지로 마음을 표현하고 있다.

전주사진센터 성창호 대표는 “무한한 가능성으로 가득한 ‘이 곳’ 새만금에서 작가들은 스스로도 몰랐던 우리 존재의 일부를, 거대한 가능성과 희망의 파편으로 포착해 미래를 보여줍니다. 이런 새만금의 역동적인 변화모습과 계절별 비경을 통해 이번 전시가 산업투자 수요 촉진은 물론 다양한 관광자원의 매력을 알리는 기회가 되기를 바라봅니다”라고 말했다.

The '2025 Saemangeum Tourism Activation Photo Exhibition' opened on the 22nd and is being held at the National Saemangeum Reclamation Museum in Buan until the 11th of next month.

In this exhibition themed around Saemangeum, visitors can discover the hearts of the artists contained in the works, and those who visit the exhibition can encounter the future and dreams of Saemangeum within the frames created by them.

Participating in this exhibition were photographers actively working in the nation and Jeollabuk Province, including artists Seong Chang-ho, Go Jeong-nam, Lee Gyu-cheol, Lee Won-cheol, and Kim Gap-ryeon, as well as members of the Jeonju 'Photo Research Institute 1839 (Chairman Im Yeong-sil)'.

The participating photographers express their hearts through images that not only serve as visual elements of Saemangeum but also enhance storytelling and evoke sensory experiences.

Seong Chang-ho, the representative of the Jeonju Photo Center, said, "In this place, Saemangeum, filled with infinite possibilities, artists capture fragments of our existence that we ourselves did not know, as well as the vast potential and hope, showing the future. Through the dynamic changes and seasonal landscapes of Saemangeum, I hope this exhibition will be an opportunity to promote industrial investment demand and introduce the charm of various tourism resources."
