완주 수소에너지고등학교가 7일 반도체 전문기업 (주)알에프세미와 업무협약을 체결하고, 스마트팩토리 기반 제조 산업 분야의 전문 인재 양성과 취업 역량 강화를 위한 협력에 나섰다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 △수소 및 신재생에너지 분야 졸업(예정)자 채용(연 1~5명) △지역 정주 여건 조성을 위한 교육 협력 △진로 특강 운영 △기술 교류 및 연구개발 협력 등 다양한 분야에서 상호 협력하기로 했다.

1999년 설립된 알에프세미는 완주에 본사를 둔 글로벌 반도체 기업으로, 휴대전화 마이크에 사용되는 ECM칩 시장에서 세계 점유율 60% 이상을 차지하고 있다. 최근에는 LED 조명용 반도체 분야로도 사업을 확장하고 있다.

학교 관계자는 “스마트팩토리 기반 교육과 지역 반도체 산업이 연계됨으로써 현장 중심의 맞춤형 인재 양성이 가능해질 것”이라며 기대감을 나타냈다.

송현진 교장은 “알에프세미는 지역을 대표하는 우수기업으로, 이번 협약을 통해 학생들이 다양한 취업 기회를 얻고 지역 정주 여건을 실현할 수 있을 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Wanju Hydrogen Energy High School signed a business agreement with semiconductor specialist company RF Semi Co., Ltd. on the 7th, initiating cooperation for fostering specialized talents in the manufacturing industry based on smart factory technology and enhancing employment capabilities.

Through this agreement, the two institutions agreed to cooperate in various areas such as hiring graduates (or those expected to graduate) in the hydrogen and renewable energy sectors (1-5 annually), collaborating on education for creating local settlement conditions, conducting career special lectures, and engaging in technology exchange and research and development.

Established in 1999, RF Semi Co., Ltd., headquartered in Wanju, is a global semiconductor company that holds over 60% of the market share in ECM chips used in mobile phone microphones. Recently, the company has also expanded its business into the LED semiconductor sector.

A school official expressed optimism, stating, "By linking education based on smart factory technology with the local semiconductor industry, it will be possible to foster tailored talents centered on practical experience."

Principal Song Hyun-jin stated, "RF Semi Co., Ltd. is an excellent company representing the region, and through this agreement, students will have various employment opportunities and contribute to realizing local settlement conditions."
