‘청소년의 달’ 5월을 맞아 전주시가 청소년들에게 꿈과 희망을 심어주기 위한 축제를 마련했다. 전주시는 10일 시청 앞 노송광장에서 ‘2025 전주시 청소년의 달 기념 연합행사’를 개최했다.

이번 행사는 전주시가 주최하고 전주시청소년시설협의회(회장 정혜선)가 주관했으며, ‘청소년이 방그레 웃는 365일’을 주제로 기념식, 동아리 공연, 체험부스 운영 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 꾸며졌다.

행사에는 우범기 전주시장, 남관우 전주시의회 의장을 비롯해 청소년과 지도자, 시민들이 참여했으며, 청소년 헌장 낭독, 우수 청소년 및 지도자 시상, 박터뜨리기 퍼포먼스 등도 진행됐다.

또한 전주시자원봉사센터 등 20여 개 기관이 참여한 체험부스에서는 보드게임, 키링 만들기, 재활용 놀이 등 다양한 체험활동이 펼쳐졌다.

정혜선 협의회장은 “청소년들이 끼와 재능을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있는 환경을 조성해나가겠다”고 밝혔으며, 시 관계자는 “청소년들이 당당한 사회의 일원으로 성장할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 전했다.

In celebration of the "Youth Month" in May, Jeonju City has prepared a festival to instill dreams and hopes in young people. On the 10th, Jeonju City held the "2025 Jeonju City Youth Month Commemorative Joint Event" at the Nosong Square in front of the city hall.

The event was organized by Jeonju City and hosted by the Jeonju City Youth Facilities Association (Chairman Jung Hye-seon), and was themed "365 days of youth laughter." It featured a commemorative ceremony, club performances, experiential booths, and various other programs.

The event was attended by Mayor Woo Beom-gi, Jeonju City Council Chairman Nam Gwan-woo, youth, leaders, and citizens. Activities such as reading the Youth Pledge, awarding outstanding youth and leaders, and a parkour performance were also held.

Moreover, at the experiential booths participated by around 20 organizations including the Jeonju City Volunteer Center, various activities like board games, keychain making, and recycling games were offered.

Chairman Jung Hye-seon stated, "We will continue to create an environment where young people can freely showcase their talents and abilities," while city officials expressed their commitment to "continuously support young people in growing into confident members of society."
