원광대학교(총장 박성태) 박물관이 ‘2025년 전북특별자치도 박물관·미술관 연합전시’ 사업의 수행기관으로 선정됐다.

이번 사업은 전북특별자치도청의 지원을 받아 (사)전북특별자치도박물관·미술관협의회가 주관하며, 도내 박물관·미술관 간 협력을 통해 전북의 역사와 문화를 조명하는 전시를 추진한다.

원광대 박물관은 사업비 1,300만 원을 지원받아 오는 9월 ‘전북특별자치도, 신을 담다(가제)’를 주제로 특별전을 개최할 예정이다.

전시에는 전북 지역 박물관·미술관이 소장한 종교 관련 유물과 기록물이 전시돼, 지역의 종교사를 한눈에 살펴볼 수 있는 기회를 제공할 계획이다.

Wonkwang University Museum (President Park Sung-tae) has been selected as the implementing agency for the '2025 Jeollabuk-do Museum and Art Museum Joint Exhibition' project.

This project is sponsored by Jeollabuk-do Provincial Office and organized by the Association of Jeollabuk-do Museums and Art Museums, promoting an exhibition that sheds light on the history and culture of Jeollabuk through collaboration among museums and art galleries in the province.

Wonkwang University Museum will receive funding of 13 million won for the project and is planning to hold a special exhibition in September titled 'Jeollabuk-do, Containing the Divine (tentative title)'.

The exhibition will display religious artifacts and records collected by museums and art galleries in the Jeollabuk region, providing an opportunity to glimpse into the region's religious history.
