전북교육청이 ‘전북교육청 장애인 오케스트라’의 공식 명칭을 공모한다고 19일 밝혔다.

장애인 고용 확대와 예술을 통한 사회참여, 장애 인식 개선을 목적으로 구성된 이 오케스트라는 최근 8명의 단원 선발을 마쳤다. 이번 공모는 오케스트라의 취지와 정체성을 반영한 참신한 이름을 찾기 위해 마련됐다.

공모는 전북 도민 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 오는 23일 낮 12시까지 온라인(https://naver.me/57QDFA6H)으로 접수 가능하다. 당선작은 6월 중 발표되며, 최우수작 1명에게는 10만 원 상당, 우수작 2명에게는 각 5만 원 상당의 상품권이 수여된다.

김윤범 유초등특수교육과장은 “음악을 통해 사회적 이해와 존중을 확산하는 데 의미 있는 역할을 할 것”이라며 적극적인 참여를 당부했다.

Comprised with the aim of expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities, promoting social participation through art, and improving awareness of disabilities, the orchestra recently completed the selection of 8 members. The call for suggestions is aimed at finding a fresh name that reflects the purpose and identity of the orchestra.

The call is open to all Jeonbuk residents, and submissions can be made online (https://naver.me/57QDFA6H) until 12 p.m. on the 23rd. The selected works will be announced in mid-June, with a prize of 100,000 won worth of gift vouchers for the best work and 50,000 won worth of gift vouchers for two outstanding works.

Kim Yoon-beom, head of the Special Education Department at the Yu Elementary School, stated, "It will play a meaningful role in spreading social understanding and respect through music," and urged active participation.
