전북특별자치도는 (사)전라북도장애인미술협회(회장 정성수)와 함께 오는 5월 23일까지 도청 1층 기획전시실에서 ‘소풍전(疎豊展)’을 개최하고 있다고 19일 밝혔다.

이번 전시는 ‘소외 없는 풍요로운 세상 만들기’를 주제로, 이길성 작가 등 장애 예술인 23명이 참여해 회화 작품 47점을 선보인다. 작품들은 자전적 경험과 사회적 메시지를 담아 장애 예술인의 정체성과 표현 세계를 시각적으로 풀어냈다.

협회 측은 “장애 예술인의 창작 활동은 개인의 치유를 넘어 사회 통합을 실현하는 실천적 예술”이라고 강조했다.

양수미 장애인복지정책과장은 “《소풍전》이 장애에 대한 사회적 인식을 개선하고, 예술로 소통하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 19th that they are hosting an exhibition titled 'Sopungjeon' in collaboration with the Jeollabuk-do Association of Disabled Artists (President Jung Seong-su) until May 23rd at the first-floor exhibition hall of the provincial office.

This exhibition, with the theme of 'Creating a Prosperous World without Exclusion,' features 23 disabled artists, including artist Lee Gil-seong, showcasing a total of 47 painting works. The artworks visually express the identity and expressive world of disabled artists by incorporating autobiographical experiences and social messages.

The association emphasized that the creative activities of disabled artists are not only for personal healing but also for realizing social integration through practical art.

Yang Su-mi, the head of the Disability Welfare Policy Department, expressed hope that the exhibition 'Sopungjeon' will improve social awareness of disabilities and serve as an opportunity for communication through art.
