군산의료원이 지역 주민의 건강 증진을 위해 운영 중인 ‘군산의료원과 함께하는 군산시민 건강강좌’가 시민들로부터 좋은 반응을 얻고 있다.

이 강좌는 오는 10월까지 매월 넷째 주 목요일 오전 11시부터 12시까지 정기적으로 열리며, 정형외과·외과·신경과·성형외과 등 전문의들이 다양한 주제로 무료 건강 정보를 제공한다. 강좌에 앞서 오전 10시 30분부터는 혈당, 콜레스테롤, 혈압, 심방세동 등 기초 건강검진도 무료로 실시된다.

오는 22일에는 오세광 치과과장이 ‘백세전략을 위한 치과상식’ 강의를 통해 구강 건강의 중요성과 관리법을 소개한다. 이후에도 요통, 화상, 당뇨병, 수면장애, 치매 등을 주제로 강좌가 이어질 예정이다.

조준필 원장은 “정확하고 신뢰할 수 있는 건강정보 제공은 공공의료기관의 중요한 역할”이라며 “시민들이 스스로 건강을 관리할 수 있는 역량을 키우는 데 도움이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

한편 군산의료원은 JB문화공간 건강강좌 외에도 학교, 노인복지관, 산업현장 등에서 맞춤형 건강교육과 예방 프로그램을 활발히 운영 중이다.

On the 22nd, Dr. Oh Se-gwang, head of the dental department, will introduce the importance and management of oral health through a lecture on 'Dental Knowledge for Longevity Strategies.' Subsequent lectures will cover topics such as back pain, burns, diabetes, sleep disorders, and dementia.
