전주시와 (사)전주영상위원회가 전주의 숨은 촬영 명소를 발굴하고 관광 활성화를 도모하기 위해 ‘제1회 SPOT IN JEONJU 청년 숏폼 공모전’을 개최한다.

공모전은 오는 6월 16일부터 30일까지 응모작을 접수하며, 공모 분야는 △전주 영화·드라마 촬영지를 홍보하는 영상 △잘 알려지지 않은 로케이션을 소개하는 영상 등 두 가지다.

참가 자격은 전북특별자치도 거주 청년(만 19세~39세) 또는 도내 대학 재학생이며, 개인 또는 3인 이하 팀으로 최대 2편까지 출품할 수 있다.

수상작은 총 18편으로, 대상 200만 원, 최우수상 각 100만 원(2편), 우수상 각 40만 원(5편), 장려상 각 20만 원(10편) 등 총 800만 원의 상금이 지급된다. 시상식은 7월 중 열릴 예정이다.

노은영 전주시 문화체육관광국장은 “이번 공모전이 전주의 영상 콘텐츠 제작과 지역 관광 활성화에 기여하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Jeonju City and the Jeonju Film Commission are holding the '1st SPOT IN JEONJU Youth Short Film Contest' to discover hidden filming locations in Jeonju and promote tourism.

The contest will accept entries from June 16 to 30, with two categories: videos promoting Jeonju's film and drama shooting locations, and videos introducing lesser-known locations.

Participants must be young residents of Jeollabuk-do (aged 19-39) or university students in the province, and can submit up to 2 entries individually or in teams of up to 3 people.

A total of 18 films will be awarded, with a grand prize of 2 million won, two excellence awards of 1 million won each, five outstanding awards of 400,000 won each, and ten encouragement awards of 200,000 won each, totaling 8 million won in prize money. The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in July.

Noh Eun-young, head of the Jeonju City Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, expressed hope that the contest would contribute to creating video content for Jeonju and revitalizing local tourism.
