전북교육청은 5월 26일부터 30일까지 특수교육대상학생과 학부모 30명이 참여하는 상반기 해외문화체험학습을 싱가포르에서 진행한다고 밝혔다.

이번 체험학습은 전북교육청이 추진하는 통합교육 정책의 일환으로, 장애 학생들에게 다양한 배움과 도전의 기회를 제공하고 삶의 영역을 확장하는 데 중점을 뒀다.

학생들은 싱가포르 현지 특수교육기관을 방문해 교육 프로그램을 참관하고 교류하는 시간을 가지며, 다양한 문화와 사람을 경험하는 기회를 갖게 된다.

전북교육청은 하반기에도 30명을 대상으로 해외문화체험학습을 이어갈 계획이다.

김윤범 유초등특수교육과장은 “학생들이 더 넓은 세상에서 보고 듣고 배우며 성장하는 소중한 기회가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 학생들의 요구와 흥미를 반영한 맞춤형 프로그램을 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced that the first half of the year overseas cultural experience learning program for 30 special education students and their parents will take place in Singapore from May 26 to 30.

This experiential learning program is part of the integrated education policy promoted by the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education, focusing on providing diverse learning and challenging opportunities for students with disabilities to expand their life experiences.

During the program, students will visit local special education institutions in Singapore, observe educational programs, and have time for interaction, providing them with opportunities to experience various cultures and meet different people.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education plans to continue the overseas cultural experience learning program in the second half of the year for another group of 30 students.

Kim Yoon-beom, the head of the Special Education Department at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "This will be a valuable opportunity for students to see, hear, learn, and grow in a broader world," adding, "We will actively support tailored programs that reflect the students' needs and interests in the future."
