전라북도장애인복지관이 오는 5월 31일(토), 본관을 통해 취업한 근로장애인 28명을 대상으로 고창군과 부안군 일대의 역사문화 현장을 탐방하는 '제3차 역사탐방 및 시티투어'를 실시한다.

이번 프로그램은 2025년 근로장애인 휴식지원프로그램의 일환으로 마련되었으며, 참가자들이 평소 접하기 어려운 지역 역사자원과 자연경관을 체험하고 정서적 힐링을 얻을 수 있도록 기획됐다.

탐방은 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 진행되며, 고창읍성과 부안읍성 등 전북 서해안권의 주요 역사·문화 명소 3~4곳을 순회하는 방식으로 운영된다. 주요 코스에는 전주출발 및 귀환을 기준으로, 점심식사와 고창읍, 부안읍 일대의 문화유산 방문이 포함돼 있다.

이번 시티투어는 근로장애인들이 일상에서 벗어나 재충전의 시간을 갖고, 지역문화에 대한 이해와 사회적 소속감을 높일 수 있는 소중한 기회가 될 것으로 기대된다.

The Jeollabuk-do Welfare Center for the Disabled will be conducting the 3rd History Exploration and City Tour on May 31st (Saturday) through its main building, targeting 28 workers with disabilities who have been employed through the center. The tour will explore historical and cultural sites in the areas of Gochang County and Buan County.

This program is part of the 2025 Workers with Disabilities Rest Support Program, designed to provide participants with the opportunity to experience local historical resources and natural landscapes that are not easily accessible in their daily lives, as well as to gain emotional healing.

The exploration will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., visiting 3 to 4 major historical and cultural landmarks along the western coast of Jeollabuk-do, such as Gochang Fortress and Buan Fortress. The itinerary includes lunch and visits to cultural heritage sites in Gochang and Buan.

This city tour is expected to be a valuable opportunity for workers with disabilities to take a break from their daily routines, recharge, and increase their understanding of local culture and sense of social belonging.
