전주시립완산도서관의 인문학 프로그램인 ‘길 위의 인문학_ 길에 스민 전북 문학’이 6월부터 10월까지 열린다.

작가의 고향과 집필 공간, 작품 배경지, 문학비, 문학관 등 전북 지역 14개 시군의 문학인과 문학 작품을 탐구하고, 작품과 연관된 문학 명소와 작품 속 인문학 자원들을 파악해 지역의 가치와 힘을 확인하는 시간이다.

인문학 강좌는 총 12회이며, △(6월) 문학 작품에 담긴 전북의 풍경 △(7월) 이야기를 품은 전북의 길 △(9월) 바위에 글을 새긴 문학비 △(10월) 작가가 다시 살러 온 문학관 등 네 개의 주제마다 두 번의 강연과 한 번의 기행으로 엮었다.

6월 10일(화)과 17일(화)에는 도서관 3층 강의실에서 동화·소설·시·수필·희곡 속 전북과 관련된 문장을 살펴 독자들에게 더 현실적인 사유를 경험케 하고, 24일(화)에는 옛 전주부성 서문지에서 동문지까지 걸으며 문학 작품에 기록된 옛 도시의 흔적을 찾는다.

강사는 최기우 극작가와 김근혜 동화작가가 맡는다. 최 작가는 『전주, 느리게 걷기』, 『전북의 재발견』, 『꽃심 전주』 등 20여 권의 인문학 저서를 통해 전북의 역사·문화·인물 콘텐츠를 알려왔으며, 2025년 ‘전주 올해의 책’ 선정 작가인 김 작가는 여러 지자체의 인문학 도서 작업에 참여했다.

최기우 작가는 “문학 작품에 담긴 유산들은 이 땅을 풍요롭게 한 힘이었다. 문학의 근원이 생생하게 살아 있는 공간을 살피는 일은 지역에 대한 자부심과 더 큰 감동을 선사할 것”이라고 말했다.

The humanities program 'Humanities on the Road - Jeonbuk Literature on the Road' at Jeonju City's Wansan Public Library will be held from June to October.

Participants will explore the literary figures and works of 14 cities and counties in Jeonbuk, including the authors' hometowns, writing spaces, literary backgrounds, literary monuments, and literary museums. They will identify literary landmarks associated with the works and humanities resources within the works to confirm the region's value and strength.

The humanities lectures will consist of a total of 12 sessions, each focusing on four themes: △(June) landscapes of Jeonbuk depicted in literary works △(July) roads of Jeonbuk filled with stories △(September) literary monuments with inscriptions on rocks △(October) literary museums where authors have returned, with two lectures and one field trip for each theme.

On June 10th and 17th, at the library's 3rd-floor lecture hall, participants will examine sentences related to Jeonbuk in fairy tales, novels, poems, essays, and plays to provide readers with a more realistic experience of reflection. On the 24th, they will walk from the old Jeonju Castle West Gate to the East Gate, searching for traces of the ancient city recorded in literary works.

The instructors for the program are playwright Choi Ki-woo and children's book author Kim Geun-hye. Choi, known for works like 'Jeonju, Walking Slowly,' 'Rediscovering Jeonbuk,' and 'Flower Heart Jeonju,' has introduced Jeonbuk's history, culture, and figures through over 20 humanities books. Kim, selected as the 'Book of the Year in Jeonju' for 2025, has participated in various local humanities book projects.

Choi Ki-woo stated, "The legacies contained in literary works have been the force that enriched this land. Examining spaces where the origins of literature are vividly alive will provide pride in the region and a greater sense of awe."
