전주 호남문고가 시민과 함께 하는 다양한 문학 프로그램을 운영한다.

<문학, 내 안에 들이다>로 명명된 이번 문학 프로그램은 한국문화예술위원회가 주관하는 ‘2025년 문학 상주 작가 지원사업’의 일원으로 운영된다. 호남문고는 2025년 문학 상주 작가 지원사업에 선정돼 2025년 5월부터 김성철 시인을 초청해 다양한 문학 프로그램을 진행할 예정이다.

호남문고 문학 프로그램으로 먼저 ‘시시詩詩한, 시 창작 수업 1, 2’가 6월 14일부터 진행된다. ‘시 창작 수업 1’은 시에 관심 있는 문학 초보자들을 대상으로 ‘상상하고, 공감하고, 엉뚱한 시 쓰기’로 진행될 예정이며 하반기 8월부터 심화 과정인 ‘시 창작 수업 2’가 진행된다.

또한 독서클럽 <시시각각>을 6월 21일부터 진행한다. 독서클럽 <시시각각>은 2주에 한 권의 시집을 읽고 ‘내가 찾은 나의 시’, ‘나를 위로하는 시’ 등을 주제로 서로의 감상평을 스스럼없이 나누는 자리이다. 시와 시어 속에서 나를 찾고 나를 위로하는 독서클럽으로 시를 통해 나와 나의 외로움을 이해하는 시간이 될 예정이며 총 10권의 시집을 읽을 예정이다.

호남문고 상주작가인 김성철 시인은 2006년 영남일보 신춘문예 시가 당선되었으며, 시집으로 “달이 기우는 비향”, “풀밭이라는 말에서 달 내음이 난다”등이 있으며 이번 사업을 통해 지역 주민들과 깊이 연결될 것으로 기대된다.

이 외에도 호남문고는 11월까지 유명 작가 초청 강연, 호남문고 상주 작가와의 대화 시간 등을 가질 예정이다. 이 외에도 다양한 프로그램을 운영하여 시민이 책으로 즐길 수 있는 문화를 조성하고자 노력할 예정이다.

Jeonju Honam Bookstore operates various literary programs with the participation of citizens.

The literary program named "" is being operated as part of the '2025 Literature Resident Writer Support Project' organized by the Korea Culture and Arts Council. Honam Bookstore was selected for the 2025 Literature Resident Writer Support Project and will invite poet Kim Seong-cheol from May 2025 to conduct various literary programs.

As part of the Honam Bookstore literary program, the "Poetry Creation Class 1, 2" will be held starting from June 14. "Poetry Creation Class 1" will target literary beginners interested in poetry and will focus on 'imagining, empathizing, and writing whimsical poems,' with an advanced course, "Poetry Creation Class 2," scheduled for the second half of August.

Furthermore, the book club "" will commence from June 21. This book club will read one poetry collection every two weeks and provide a platform for sharing thoughts on themes like 'My Found Poem' and 'Poems that Console Me.' It aims to help participants find and console themselves through poetry, with plans to read a total of 10 poetry collections.

Kim Seong-cheol, the resident writer at Honam Bookstore, won the Yeongnam Ilbo Shinchun Literary Award in 2006 and has published poetry collections such as "The Scent of Moonlighting Rain" and "The Fragrance of the Moon in the Grass Field." It is expected that through this project, he will deeply connect with local residents.

In addition, Honam Bookstore plans to host renowned authors for lectures and conversations with resident writers until November. They will also continue to operate various programs to cultivate a culture where citizens can enjoy books.
