전주교육지원청 소속 학부모동아리 ‘온맘’(회장 손석래)이 13일 전주서일초를 시작으로, 전주 지역 6개 초등학교에서 총 7회의 심폐소생술(CPR) 체험교육을 실시한다.

‘온맘’은 2024년 전주시 학부모 31명이 창단한 동아리로, 올해는 37명의 전원이 응급처치 강사 과정을 수료하고 전주팔복초 안전체험관에서 매주 4시간씩 강사로 활동 중이다. 동아리 회원들은 지역아동센터와 지역 행사 등에서도 재능기부와 봉사활동을 이어가고 있다.

김정기 전주교육지원청 교육장은 “‘온맘’의 헌신적인 활동이 지역 생명안전 문화 확산에 큰 기여를 하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 자발적인 활동이 지속될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The parent association 'Onmam' affiliated with the Jeonju Education Support Office (President Son Seok-rae) will conduct a total of 7 sessions of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) experience education at 6 elementary schools in the Jeonju area, starting with Jeonju Seoil Elementary School on the 13th.

'Onmam' is a club founded by 31 parents in Jeonju in 2024, and this year, all 37 members have completed the emergency treatment instructor course and are currently active as instructors for 4 hours each week at Jeonju Palbok Elementary School Safety Experience Center. Club members continue to contribute their talents and volunteer activities at local child centers and community events.

Kim Jung-gi, the superintendent of the Jeonju Education Support Office, stated, "The dedicated activities of 'Onmam' are making a significant contribution to the spread of local life safety culture," and added, "We will actively support to ensure that voluntary activities continue in the future."
