국립군산대학교(총장 이장호)는 12일 ‘2025 웹소설·웹툰 아이디어 공모전’을 성공적으로 마무리하고, 수상자에게 상장과 장학금을 수여했다.

국어국문학과가 기획한 이번 공모전에는 24개 학과에서 총 55명의 재학생이 참가했다. 대상은 시간여행을 하는 연쇄살인마의 이야기를 종교·범죄·미스터리 장르로 풀어낸 김승민 학생(국어국문학과 신입생)이 수상했다.

금상은 이능력자가 등장하는 혼란의 세계를 그린 김가은 학생(컴퓨터소프트웨어학부), 우수상은 귀신을 보는 범죄심리분석관 이야기를 쓴 김민서 학생(법행정경찰학부)이 각각 수상했다.

이다운 교수는 “참여 학과와 작품의 다양성이 확대됐고, 학생들이 창작의 즐거움을 경험한 것이 가장 큰 성과”라고 밝혔다.

한편 국립군산대 국어국문학과는 ‘K-문화전문가 양성’을 비전으로 스토리텔링, 콘텐츠, 글쓰기, 인문학 전문가 양성에 힘쓰고 있다.

National Gunsan University (President Lee Jang-ho) successfully concluded the '2025 Web Novel and Webtoon Idea Contest' on the 12th, awarding certificates and scholarships to the winners.

Organized by the Department of Korean Language and Literature, a total of 55 students from 24 departments participated in this contest. The grand prize was awarded to Kim Seung-min, a freshman majoring in Korean Language and Literature, for his story about a time-traveling serial killer in the genres of religion, crime, and mystery.

The gold prize went to Kim Ga-eun, a student majoring in Computer Software, for depicting a world of chaos where individuals with special abilities exist, while the excellence prize was awarded to Kim Min-seo, a student majoring in Law, Public Administration, and Police Studies, for her story about a crime psychological analyst who can see ghosts.

Professor Lee Da-woon stated, "The diversity of participating departments and works has expanded, and the greatest achievement is that students have experienced the joy of creation."

Meanwhile, the Department of Korean Language and Literature at National Gunsan University is striving to cultivate 'K-Culture Experts' with a vision focusing on storytelling, content creation, writing, and training humanities experts.
