전북특별자치도 대표도서관과 (사)공공도서관협의회 전북지부는 6월 17일부터 18일까지 부산에서 ‘2025년 전북특별자치도 공공도서관 협력 워크숍’을 개최했다.

‘도서관, 과거를 돌아보고 미래를 바라보다’를 주제로 열린 이번 워크숍에는 전북 지역 공공도서관 관장과 사서 등 55명이 참석해 도서관 간 협력체계 구축과 서비스 질 향상 방안을 모색했다.

참가자들은 부산도서관, 부산시민도서관, 복합문화공간 F1963 등 선진 사례를 현장 탐방하며 이용자 중심의 공간 운영과 서비스 혁신 방안을 공유했다. 또, 오지은 공공도서관협의회 회장의 특강을 통해 국내외 도서관의 최신 동향과 협력 모델에 대한 논의도 이어졌다.

이번 워크숍은 실무 중심의 역량 강화 프로그램으로, 향후 전북 도서관 간 유기적 협력과 공동사업 추진의 기반이 될 것으로 기대된다.

이경영 전북자치도 문화산업과장은 “도서관의 공공성과 전문성을 강화하는 소통과 협력의 장이었다”며, “현장 중심의 정책 지원을 통해 도서관 상생 기반을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Representative Library and the Jeonbuk Branch of the Public Library Association held a '2025 Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Public Library Cooperation Workshop' in Busan from June 17th to 18th.

Under the theme 'Libraries, Looking Back at the Past and Looking Forward to the Future,' the workshop brought together 55 directors and librarians from public libraries in Jeonbuk to explore ways to establish a cooperative system between libraries and enhance service quality.

Participants visited advanced cases such as the Busan Library, Busan Citizens' Library, and the F1963 Complex Cultural Space to share ideas on user-centered space operation and service innovation. In addition, discussions on the latest trends in domestic and international libraries and cooperation models were held through a special lecture by Oh Ji-eun, the chairperson of the Public Library Association.

This workshop, as a practical capacity enhancement program, is expected to serve as a foundation for organic cooperation and joint projects among Jeonbuk libraries in the future.

Lee Kyung-young, the head of the Department of Culture and Industry in Jeonbuk, stated, "It was a platform for communication and cooperation to strengthen the public nature and professionalism of libraries," adding, "We will continue to expand the foundation of library symbiosis through field-oriented policy support."
