전북교육청은 6월 20일부터 22일까지 서울 aT센터에서 열리는 ‘2025 국민팜 엑스포’에 참가해 전북 농어촌유학의 우수성과 교육적 특색을 홍보한다.

이번 박람회는 국민일보 주최로 농촌 정착, 귀농‧귀촌, 농촌 교육 정보를 소개하는 자리다. 전북교육청은 홍보 부스를 운영하며, 유학 운영 방식, 참여 절차, 지원 제도, 생태체험 프로그램 등을 소개하고, 현장 1:1 맞춤 상담도 진행한다.

현재 전북 농어촌유학은 도내 28개 학교에서 200여 명이 참여 중이며, 가족체류형, 유학센터형, 홈스테이형 등 다양한 방식으로 운영된다. 2025학년도 2학기 모집에는 서울·경기 등지에서 총 88명이 신청했다. 교육청은 학생 수에 따라 월 30만~50만 원의 체재비도 지원하고 있다.

임경진 교육협력과장은 “수도권 시민들에게 전북 농어촌유학의 교육적 가치를 알릴 좋은 기회”라며 “향후 수도권 설명회를 확대하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education will participate in the '2025 National Farm Expo' held at the aT Center in Seoul from June 20 to 22 to promote the excellence and educational characteristics of Jeonbuk rural study programs.

This expo, organized by the Kukmin Ilbo, is a platform to introduce information on rural settlement, returning to and settling in rural areas, and rural education. The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education will operate a promotional booth, introducing the operation methods of rural study programs, participation procedures, support systems, eco-experience programs, and also providing on-site personalized consultations.

Currently, Jeonbuk rural study programs are being conducted in 28 schools within the province with over 200 participants. The programs are operated in various formats such as family-stay, study center-based, and homestay. For the second semester of the 2025 academic year, a total of 88 applicants from Seoul and Gyeonggi areas have applied. The Education Office also provides monthly living expenses support ranging from 300,000 to 500,000 won depending on the number of students.

Lim Kyung-jin, Head of Education Cooperation, stated, "This is a great opportunity to inform citizens in the metropolitan area about the educational value of Jeonbuk rural study programs," and expressed plans to expand information sessions in the metropolitan area in the future.
