전북특별자치도는 산업재해에 취약한 소규모 사업장의 안전 역량 강화를 위해 ‘2025년 산업재해 예방 교육 지원사업’을 본격 추진한다고 22일 밝혔다. 도는 50인 미만 사업장 근로자 200명을 대상으로 교육비 전액을 지원할 계획이다.

이번 사업은 법정 의무교육을 넘어 실무 중심의 통합 안전교육을 무료로 제공해, 현장 근로자의 작업재해 예방을 목적으로 한다. 교육은 군산시의 삼영종합중장비학원에서 진행되며, 크레인 줄걸이 등 하역기계 작업 종사자가 주요 대상이다.

교육은 근로자의 숙련도에 따라 ▲초급(S1) ▲중급(S2) ▲상급(S3) 3단계로 나뉘며, 단계별로 작업 개념 이해부터 실습을 통한 위험 대응 능력 향상까지 체계적으로 구성됐다. 초급 과정은 오는 6월 26일, 27일, 30일에 걸쳐 3회에 걸쳐 진행된다.

오택림 도민안전실장은 “이번 교육은 산업현장에서 실제 사고를 막는 실질적 조치로서 의미가 크다”며 “보다 안전한 일터 조성을 위해 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

On the 22nd, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced that it will actively promote the '2025 Industrial Accident Prevention Education Support Project' to enhance the safety capabilities of small-scale businesses vulnerable to industrial accidents. The province plans to fully support the education expenses for 200 workers from businesses with fewer than 50 employees.

This project aims to provide practical, integrated safety education beyond the legal obligation of education, free of charge, with the purpose of preventing work-related accidents among on-site workers. The education will be conducted at Samyoung Comprehensive Heavy Equipment Academy in Gunsan City, with a focus on crane rigging and other handling machinery operators.

The education is divided into three levels - beginner (S1), intermediate (S2), and advanced (S3) - based on the workers' skill levels. It is systematically structured to enhance risk response abilities through understanding work concepts and practical training at each level. The beginner course will be held over three sessions on June 26, 27, and 30.

Oh Taek-rim, the Director of Civil Safety at the province, stated, "This education holds significant meaning as a practical measure to prevent actual accidents in industrial sites," adding, "We will continue to provide support to create safer workplaces."
