완주군이 여름철 물놀이 안전사고 예방을 위해 안전관리요원 교육을 실시했다.

군은 지난 23일 고산면 행정복지센터에서 물놀이 안전관리요원 44명과 완주소방서 소속 119 수상 시민구조대원 12명을 대상으로 심폐소생술, 인명구조장비 사용법, 자동제세동기(AED) 실습 등 실무 중심의 교육을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 산업안전보건법 관련 교육도 병행됐다.

완주군은 고산면, 운주면, 동상면 등 19개 물놀이 관리·위험 구역에 오는 7월 12일부터 8월 17일까지 특별대책기간을 설정하고, 안전요원을 고정 배치할 계획이다.

또한 완주소방서·경찰서 등 유관기관과 핫라인을 구축해 현장 대응체계를 강화한다.

유희태 군수는 “물놀이 안전은 사전 예방이 핵심”이라며 “군민과 방문객 모두가 안전하게 여름을 즐길 수 있도록 철저히 준비하겠다”고 말했다.

On the 23rd, the county held practical training at the Gosan Community Welfare Center for 44 water activity safety management personnel and 12 members of the Wanju Fire Department's water rescue team, focusing on CPR, proper use of life-saving equipment, and hands-on training with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Training related to the Industrial Safety and Health Act was also conducted.

Wanju County plans to designate a special period from July 12 to August 17 for 19 water activity management and high-risk areas in Gosan, Unju, Dongyang, etc., and deploy safety personnel permanently.

Furthermore, the county will strengthen on-site response systems by establishing hotlines with relevant agencies such as the Wanju Fire Department and the Police Department.

County Mayor Yoo Hee-tae stated, "Prevention is key to water activity safety," adding, "We will thoroughly prepare to ensure that both residents and visitors can enjoy the summer safely."
