전북대학교(총장 양오봉)는 지난 26일 ‘지속가능한 커리어 전략과 성공적인 진로 설계’를 주제로 명사·전문가 초청 특강을 열었다.

학생취업진로처가 주관한 이번 특강에는 재학생과 교직원 150여 명이 참석했으며, 호주와 아시아·태평양 지역에서 활동 중인 법조계 전문가들이 연사로 나서 글로벌 경력 설계 노하우를 전했다.

주요 연사로는 조셉 카탄자리티 호주 College of Law 학장(전 호주 노동위원회 부위원장), 고철수 박사(김앤장 법률사무소 전문위원), 제임스 정 호주 법학대학 국제이사가 참여해 지속가능한 커리어 전략, 진로 설계, 퍼스널 브랜딩 등에 대해 강연했다.

조동휴 학생취업진로처장은 “이번 특강이 학생들의 진로 인식 확대와 장기적 경력 설계에 실질적 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 분야 전문가를 초청해 취업 지원을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

Chonbuk National University (President Yang O-bong) held a special lecture on the theme of 'Sustainable Career Strategies and Successful Career Planning' on the 26th.

Organized by the Student Employment Career Center, the special lecture was attended by over 150 students and faculty members. Legal professionals active in Australia, Asia, and the Pacific region took the stage as speakers, sharing insights on global career planning.

Key speakers included Joseph Catanzariti, Dean of the College of Law in Australia (former Deputy Chair of the Australian Fair Work Commission), Dr. Ko Cheol-soo (Specialist Director at Kim & Chang Law Firm), and James Jung, an international affairs officer at an Australian law school. They delivered lectures on sustainable career strategies, career planning, personal branding, and more.

Choi Dong-hyoo, Director of the Student Employment Career Center, expressed hope that the special lecture would help expand students' career awareness and contribute to their long-term career planning. He also stated, "We will continue to invite experts from various fields to strengthen employment support in the future."
