장애인의 독서 흥미를 높이고 다양한 독서 활동을 장려하기 위한 ‘제18회 장애인 독후활동 대회’가 열린다. 이번 대회는 기존의 ‘장애 아동·청소년 독후감 대회’를 확대해 전 연령과 다양한 유형의 장애인을 대상으로 추진된다.

대회에는 시각·청각·지체·발달장애인을 포함한 아동·청소년과 성인 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 글 또는 그림 형식으로 응모 가능하다. 부문은 아동·청소년부와 성인부로 나뉘며, 각 부문은 다시 장애 유형별로 8개로 세분화된다. 대상 도서는 자유롭게 선택할 수 있다.

시상은 개인 부문 58명과 우수기관 4곳이 선정되며, 문화체육관광부 장관상(2명)과 국립장애인도서관장상(56명)이 수여된다. 기관 부문 우수기관에도 국립장애인도서관장상이 주어진다.

작품 접수는 8월 25일부터 10월 12일 밤 11시 59분까지 이메일(brandingstrategy20@gmail.com)로 받는다. 개인은 직접 제출할 수 있고, 단체는 지도교사나 복지사가 취합해 제출하면 된다. 참가신청서, 개인정보동의서, 장애인 증빙서류, 응모작품이 필수 제출 서류다.

수상자는 11월 24일 발표되며, 국립장애인도서관 누리집(nld.go.kr) 공지사항과 개별 통보로 확인할 수 있다. 자세한 문의는 대회 운영팀(☎ 02-6000-4465, 이메일 동일)으로 가능하다.

The 18th Disabled Reading Activity Competition will be held to increase the reading interest of people with disabilities and encourage various reading activities. This year's competition expands on the existing "Disabled Children and Youth Reading Impression Competition" to include individuals of all ages and various types of disabilities.

The competition is open to children, youth, and adults with visual, auditory, physical, and developmental disabilities, and entries can be submitted in written or illustrated form. There are two categories: one for children and youth, and another for adults, each further divided into 8 subcategories based on the type of disability. Participants are free to choose the book they wish to read.

A total of 58 individuals and 4 outstanding organizations will be selected for awards, with the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award (2 individuals) and the National Disabled Library Director's Award (56 individuals) being presented. The National Disabled Library Director's Award will also be given to outstanding organizations in the institutional category.

Entries will be accepted via email (brandingstrategy20@gmail.com) from August 25 to October 12, until 11:59 PM. Individuals can submit their works directly, while groups can have their supervising teachers or welfare workers compile and submit the entries. The application form, consent form for personal information, proof of disability, and the entry itself are required submission documents.
