< ‘흥보가 중 <흥보 비는 대목>’-차복순 명창>

전통예술의 미래를 여는 전북특별자치도립국악원(원장/유영대)은 오는 25일 오후 7시 30분에 한국소리문화의전당 명인홀에서 2025 하반기 목요상설 가·무·악 두 번째 무대‘오인오색 소리열전Ⅱ’공연이 펼쳐진다.

첫 번째 무대는 이충헌 부수석의 ‘흥보가 중 <흥보 비는 대목>’으로 막을 연다. ‘흥보가 비는 대목’은 흥보가 굶주림에 양식을 얻기 위해 놀보 집을 찾아가 애원하며 빌다 매만 맞고 통곡하는 내용으로 슬픔을 해학적으로 유쾌하게 풀어낸다.

이어서 한단영 단원이 ‘춘향가 중 <이별가 대목>’을 열창한다. 춘향과 이 도령이 이별하는 대목으로, 남녀노소 누구에게나 사랑받는 춘향가의 눈대목 중 하나로 이별의 슬픔을 극적으로 그려 심금을 울린다.

세 번째는 최삼순 수석의 ‘심청가 중 <타루비 대목>’이다. 심봉사가 인당수로 떠나보낸 딸 심청을 그리워하며 강가에 세워둔 타루비에서 죄책감에 울분을 토해내는 내용으로, 한이 섞인 애절한 소리를 통해 눈물샘을 자극한다.

네 번째 무대는 차복순 지도위원의 ‘적벽가 중 <군사설움 대목>’으로 적벽대전을 앞두고 조조가 군사들을 격려하는 잔치를 베푸는 장면으로 군사들이 이별한 가족에 대한 그리움과 설움을 토로하는 대목이다. 차복순 지도위원은 절제된 소리로 군산들의 한(恨)을 잘 표현해 마음에 울림을 전한다.

마지막 무대는 ‘수궁가 중 <고고천변 대목>’으로 장식한다. ‘고고천변’은 별주부가 용왕의 병에 쓸 토끼의 간을 구하러 육지로 나오면서 처음 보는 세상의 아름다운 풍경에 감탄하는 대목으로 김도현 수석이 흥겹고 기품있는 소리를 들려준다.

공연 당일, 고수로는 박추우 창극단원, 박종호 객원고수가 출연해 창자와 합을 맞춘다.

"Promotion is the Key in 'Heungbo is the Highlight' - Renowned Singer Cha Bok-soon

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province National Gugak Center, which is leading the future of traditional arts, will present the second stage of the 2025 second half Thursday regular performance series 'Five Colors of Sounds II' at the Myeongin Hall of the Korean Sound Culture Center on the 25th at 7:30 pm.

The first stage will open with 'Heungbo is the Highlight' by Lee Chung-heon, a senior member. 'Heungbo is the Highlight' depicts Heungbo visiting his brother Nolbo's house to beg for food due to starvation, only to be met with harsh treatment and crying, expressing sadness in a humorous and entertaining way.

Next, Han Dan-young, a junior member, will sing 'Chunhyangga is the Highlight.' This scene portrays the separation of Chunhyang and Lee, evoking deep emotions of sorrow in parting, a well-loved scene from the Chunhyangga that resonates with audiences of all ages.

The third performance will be 'Simcheongga is the Highlight' by Choi Sam-soon, a senior member. This scene depicts Sim Bongsa grieving for his daughter Simcheong, who left to become a kisaeng, expressing his guilt and sorrow at the Tarubi by the river, stimulating tears with a mix of sorrow and emotion.

The fourth stage will feature 'Jeokbyeokga is the Highlight' by Director Cha Bok-soon, depicting a feast where Jojo encourages the soldiers before the Battle of Jeokbyeok, expressing the soldiers' longing and sorrow for their families left behind. Director Cha Bok-soon effectively conveys the soldiers' resentment with restrained sounds, touching the hearts of the audience.

The final performance will be adorned with 'Sugungga is the Highlight.' 'Sugungga' portrays a scene where the Star Governor comes to the mainland to find a rabbit's liver to cure the Dragon King's illness, marveling at the beautiful scenery of the new world, with Senior Kim Do-hyun delivering lively and elegant sounds.

On the day of the performance, senior actors Park Chu-woo and Park Jong-ho will appear as guest performers, harmonizing with the singers."
