The curated exhibition 'Whisper of Colors', which brings together the sensibility and experimental spirit of modern photography, will be held at the F Gallery located at 16 Gongbok 1-gil, Wansan-gu, Jeonju City from the 4th to the 15th.
This exhibition is jointly organized by the Catholic University Lifelong Education Center and the Catholic University Photography Research Institute, with curator Lee Kyung-hwa in charge.
'Whisper of Colors' views color not just as a simple visual element, but as a language of sensibility that connects the inner world of humans and emotions of the world. Under the theme 'Color is a bridge connecting the inner world and emotions of the world', participating artists have captured memories and emotions of colors in their photos through their own perspectives.
The colors in the artworks convey light emotions like the wind or deep emotions like silence, and the images with different spectrums whisper the message that "all the light in the world is the language of the heart".
This exhibition invites visitors to experience a sensory journey of 'seeing with the eyes and hearing with the heart' through the subtle resonance of colors. The curator stated, "Light lasts longer than memories, and colors penetrate deeper than language," and expressed hopes that this exhibition will leave visitors with their own 'memories of colors'.
The exhibition features 17 artists including Kang Eun-hee, Gu Ja-chun, Kim Ok-ja, Kim Jong-suk, Na Hye-young, No Kang-yoon, No Young-ho, Oh Byeong-yeol, Oh Se-won, Lee Mi-hwa, Chae Hee-ryun, Choi Shin-man, Choi Ok-hee, Choi Ji-young, Choi Chang-kyu, Yang Sung-ho, and Ahn Jung-bae.
