연말을 맞아 전주시립교향악단은 10일 오후 7시 30분 한국소리문화의전당 연지홀에서 장애인과 함께하는 송년음악회 ‘소리로 잇는 따뜻한 동행(Sing as One)’을 연다.

이번 공연은 발달장애인 앙상블 연주단인 ‘사회적협동조합 느루걸음’ 단원들이 무대에 함께 오르는 합동공연 형식으로 진행된다.

또한 국내외에서 활발히 활동 중인 바이올리니스트 김재원이 협연자로 나선다. 김재원은 섬세한 감성과 탁월한 테크닉으로 현재 프랑스 툴루즈 카피톨 국립오케스트라에서 종신악장으로 활동 중이며, 이번 공연에서 풍부한 해석과 소리로 관객들과 교감할 예정이다.

공연 프로그램은 제임스 스웨어링겐의 ‘용맹한 비행’으로 시작해 멘델스존 바이올린 협주곡 마단조 작품 64, 바흐의 ‘샤콘느’, 그리고 많은 이들에게 익숙한 ‘예수, 인간 소망의 기쁨’까지 이어진다.

노은영 전주시 문화체육관광국장은 “이번 공연은 연말 감성을 담은 음악 속에서 사회적 포용의 가치를 공유하는 뜻깊은 무대가 될 것”이라며 “시민들이 함께 참여해 예술이 전하는 따뜻한 메시지를 나누길 바란다”고 말했다.

To celebrate the end of the year, the Jeonju City Symphony Orchestra will hold a year-end concert 'Sing as One' with people with disabilities at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th at the Yeonji Hall in the Korea Sound Culture Center.

This performance will be a joint performance where members of the developmental disability ensemble 'Social Cooperative Nulugeom' will take the stage together. Violinist Kim Jaewon, who is actively performing both domestically and internationally, will also perform as a guest artist. Kim Jaewon, known for his delicate sensibility and excellent technique, is currently serving as a concertmaster at the National Orchestra of Toulouse Capitol in France, and is expected to communicate with the audience through rich interpretations and sound during this performance.

The performance program will start with James Swearingen's 'Valiant Flight,' followed by Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64, Bach's 'Chaconne,' and the familiar 'Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring.'

Noh Eun-young, the head of the Jeonju City Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said, "This performance will be a meaningful stage for sharing the value of social inclusion through music filled with end-of-year emotions," and expressed hope that citizens will participate together and share the warm messages conveyed by art.
