두드림사회적협동조합은 지난 12일 한국전통문화전당 공연장에서 제3회 두드림가족돌봄대상 시상식 및 송년행사를 성황리 마쳤다.

이날 장애를 겪는 자녀를 훌륭히 키운 장한 어머니 또는 아버지 및 그 가족을 선정하여 그 노고를 위로하고 어버이의 숭고함을 기리고 응원하는 시간을 가졌다.

또한 두드림사회적협동조합 임직원 및 발달장애인 당사자와 가족에 대한 노고와 성과에 대하여 시상하고 격려했다.

1부 기념행사에서는 어려운 환경 속에서도 헌신적인 가족 돌봄을 실천하며 사회에 귀감이 된 ‘임예정’님에게 두드림가족돌봄대상을 수여하고 감사와 존경의 마음을 담아 감사패와 상금 500만 원을 전달하였다.

두드림가족돌봄대상 수상자 임예정 씨는 “모든 어머니들이 아이를 키우며 최선을 다하는 모습은 어느 부모든 똑같을 것이라며, 그럼에도 불구하고 큰 상을 받게 되어 감사함과 함께 부끄러움을 느낀다”는 소감을 밝혔다.

2부 송년행사에서는 두드림 발달장애인 주간활동센터 발표 무대 및 송년 축하 공연을 진행하였다. 두드림 발달장애인 주간활동센터 이용자들이 1년 동안 갈고닦은 실력을 뽐내는 우쿨렐레 및 댄스 공연등 감동적인 발표 무대가 펼쳐졌다.

이는 이용자들의 성취감을 높이고 사회 구성원으로서 당당히 설 수 있도록 돕는 의미 있는 순서였다. 이어 가수 조성모를 특별 초청하여 축하 공연을 선보였다.

두드림사회적협동조합 최성원 대표는 "가족 돌봄은 우리 사회의 가장 기본적이고 중요한 축이지만, 그 가치가 제대로 인정받지 못하는 경우가 많다"며, "이번 '두드림가족돌봄대상' 시상식을 통해 묵묵히 희생과 헌신을 다하는 가족 돌봄에 대한 사회적 관심을 높이고, 그분들의 노고에 깊은 감사와 존경을 표하고자 한다"고 밝혔다. 또한, "내년에도 돌봄이 필요한 가정에 희망과 격려를 전달하는 활동을 이어갈 것"이라고 덧붙였다.

The Dream Social Cooperative successfully held the 3rd Dream Family Caregiving Awards ceremony and year-end event at the Korean Traditional Culture Center on the 12th.

On this day, they selected and honored parents who have excellently raised children with disabilities, as well as their families, to comfort their hard work, honor the nobility of parents, and show support.

They also recognized and awarded the efforts and achievements of Dream Social Cooperative employees, individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families.

During the first part of the event, they awarded the Dream Family Caregiving Award to 'Im Ye-jeong,' who has been a role model in caregiving despite facing difficult circumstances, and presented a plaque of appreciation and a prize of 5 million won to express gratitude and respect.

The award recipient, Im Ye-jeong, expressed her gratitude and humility, saying, "I feel grateful and embarrassed to receive such a big award, as all mothers do their best to raise their children, and I believe any parent would do the same."

In the second part of the event, there were performances by the Dream Developmental Disability Day Activity Center, including ukulele and dance performances showcasing the skills honed by the center's users throughout the year, creating a touching stage.

This was a meaningful sequence to boost the users' sense of accomplishment and help them stand confidently as members of society. Singer Cho Sung-mo was also specially invited to perform at the congratulatory event.

Choi Sung-won, the representative of Dream Social Cooperative, stated, "Family caregiving is the most fundamental and important pillar of our society, yet its value is often not properly recognized." He added, "Through this 'Dream Family Caregiving Awards' ceremony, we aim to raise social awareness of the silent sacrifices and dedication of family caregivers, expressing deep gratitude and respect for their efforts." He further mentioned, "We will continue activities next year to deliver hope and encouragement to families in need of care."
