전북지역 물관리 성과를 공유하고 농업비점오염 관리를 위한 주민 참여 기반을 다지는 자리가 마련됐다.

‘2025년 전북물포럼 성과공유회 및 농업비점오염관리 참여주민 한마당’이 18일 오전 10시부터 오후 4시까지 전주와 정읍 일원에서 열렸다.

행사는 1·2부로 나뉘어 진행됐다. 1부 ‘2025년 전북물포럼 성과공유회’는 전북연구원 컨퍼런스홀(별관 3층)에서 열려 한 해 동안 전북물포럼이 추진해 온 운영 경과와 정책·참여 성과를 공유하는 자리로 꾸며졌다. 전북물포럼 공동대표를 비롯해 정책기획, 갈등조정, 참여문화 분과위원 등 47명이 참석했다.

2부는 정읍시 덕천면 황토현권역어울림센터에서 ‘농업비점오염관리 주민협의체 발족식’으로 이어졌다.

전북지방환경청 새만금유역관리단과 공동으로 추진되는 이번 발족식에는 정읍시와 부안군의 농업비점오염관리 참여마을 주민 80여 명을 포함해 전북지방환경청과 전북자치도 물통합관리과, 정읍시·부안군 환경·농업부서, 전북연구원, 국립농업과학원, 농어촌연구원, 농어촌공사, 어스그린환경센터 등 관계기관 인사 등 약 150명이 참석했다.

김보국 전북연구원 수석연구위원은 “주민 참여형 물관리와 농업비점오염 저감을 위한 협력 체계를 강화하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

A gathering was held to share the achievements of water management in the Jeonbuk region and to establish a foundation for resident participation in agricultural non-point source pollution management.

The '2025 Jeonbuk Water Forum Achievement Sharing Meeting and Agricultural Non-Point Source Pollution Management Resident Participation Gathering' took place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 18th in Jeonju and Jeongeup.

The event was divided into two parts. Part 1, the '2025 Jeonbuk Water Forum Achievement Sharing Meeting,' was held at the Jeonbuk Research Institute Conference Hall (Annex 3rd floor), where the progress and policy achievements of the Jeonbuk Water Forum over the past year were shared. A total of 47 people, including co-representatives of the Jeonbuk Water Forum, policy planners, conflict resolution experts, and participation culture subcommittee members, attended.

Part 2 continued at the Hwangto Regional Harmony Center in Deokcheon-myeon, Jeongeup, with the 'Launch Ceremony of the Agricultural Non-Point Source Pollution Management Resident Committee.'

About 150 people attended this launch event, jointly organized by the Jeonbuk Regional Environmental Office's Saemangeum Watershed Management Team and Jeongeup City, including over 80 residents from participating villages in Jeongeup City and Buan County for agricultural non-point source pollution management. Representatives from the Jeonbuk Regional Environmental Office, Jeonbuk Provincial Water Management Department, Jeongeup City and Buan County environmental and agricultural departments, Jeonbuk Research Institute, National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Rural Development Administration, Rural Community Corporation, Earth Green Environmental Center, and other related organizations were present.

Kim Bo-guk, Senior Research Fellow at the Jeonbuk Research Institute, expressed hope that this event would serve as an opportunity to strengthen the cooperative system for resident-participatory water management and agricultural non-point source pollution reduction.
