어린이집 원아들이 바자회로 마련한 수익금을 기부하며 연말 나눔을 실천했다.

솔빛어린이집(원장 김진하)은 24일 전주시복지재단(이사장 윤방섭)에 복지사각지대 이웃을 위해 써달라며 성금 100만 원을 전달했다고 밝혔다. 기부금은 원아와 학부모가 함께 참여한 바자회 수익금 전액으로 마련됐다.

원아들은 집에서 사용하지 않는 의류·장난감·생필품 등을 내놓으며 나눔의 의미를 배우는 시간을 가졌고, 교직원들은 반찬과 붕어빵, 어묵 등을 준비해 행사 운영을 도왔다. 이번 기부로 솔빛어린이집은 전주시복지재단의 고액 기부자 캠페인인 ‘2025년 백만천사 91호’에 이름을 올렸다.

윤방섭 전주시복지재단 이사장은 “원아와 학부모, 교직원의 따뜻한 마음에 감사드린다”며 “기부금은 도움이 필요한 이웃을 위해 소중히 사용하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 전주시복지재단은 연간 100만 원 이상 기부자를 ‘백만천사’로 선정하는 ‘백만천사 캠페인’을 연중 운영 중이며, 시민·기업·단체의 참여를 받고 있다.

Children at a daycare center practiced year-end sharing by donating the proceeds from a bazaar.

Solbit Daycare Center (Director Kim Jin-ha) announced on the 24th that they donated 1 million won to the Jeonju Welfare Foundation (Chairman Yoon Bang-seop) for the welfare blind spots in the neighborhood. The donation was made entirely from the proceeds of a bazaar that the children and parents participated in together.

The children had a time to learn the meaning of sharing by putting out clothes, toys, and daily necessities that they no longer used at home, while the staff prepared side dishes, carp bread, and fish cakes to help operate the event. Through this donation, Solbit Daycare Center was listed under the Jeonju Welfare Foundation's high-value donor campaign, '2025 Million Angels No. 91.'

Yoon Bang-seop, the chairman of the Jeonju Welfare Foundation, expressed gratitude, saying, "I am thankful for the warm hearts of the children, parents, and staff," and added, "We will use the donation carefully for the neighbors in need."

Meanwhile, the Jeonju Welfare Foundation is running the 'Million Angels Campaign' throughout the year, selecting donors who contribute more than 1 million won annually as 'Million Angels,' and receiving participation from citizens, companies, and organizations.
