전북특별자치도가 성평등 문화 확산과 여성 권익 증진을 위한 ‘2026년 성평등기금 지원사업’을 공모한다.

전북자치도는 26일 성평등한 지역사회 조성을 위해 도내 여성단체와 비영리법인 등이 추진하는 성평등 촉진 활동을 지원한다고 밝혔다. 지원 규모는 총 7,500만원으로 ▲성평등 문화 확산 ▲여성의 사회참여 확대 ▲여성 인권 보호 및 권익 증진 등 3개 분야 사업을 대상으로 한다.

신청 대상은 도내에 주사무소를 둔 비영리법인 또는 단체로, 공고일 기준 1년 이상 공익활동 실적이 있어야 한다. 또한 전체 사업비의 10% 이상을 자부담으로 확보해야 한다.

접수는 내년 1월 16일 오후 6시까지 전북도청 여성가족과에 방문 또는 우편으로 하면 된다. 도 성평등위원회 심의(2월 예정)를 거쳐 최종 결과는 개별 통보한다.

도는 동일 단체·동일 사업의 3년 초과 지원 제한, 타 기관 유사·중복 사업 배제 등 기준을 적용해 사업 운영의 투명성과 형평성을 확보할 방침이다.

김정 전북자치도 여성가족과장은 “실천적이고 창의적인 성평등 사업이 다양하게 발굴되길 기대한다”며 “도민이 체감할 수 있는 양성평등 정책을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 올해는 9개 단체가 선정돼 약 7,000만원이 지원됐으며, 성매매 방지 캠페인, 디지털 성범죄 예방 교육, 청소년 성인지 감수성 향상 교육 등 프로그램이 운영됐다.

Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province is soliciting applications for the '2026 Gender Equality Fund Support Project' to promote a culture of gender equality and enhance women's rights.

On the 26th, Jeollabuk Province announced that it will support gender equality promotion activities initiated by women's organizations and non-profit organizations in the province to create a gender-equal local community. The total support amount is 75 million won, targeting projects in three areas: ▲spreading a culture of gender equality ▲expanding women's social participation ▲protecting and promoting women's rights.

The eligible applicants are non-profit organizations or groups with a main office in the province, and they must have a track record of public service activities for at least one year as of the announcement date. Additionally, they must secure at least 10% of the total project cost as self-funding.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the Women and Family Department of Jeollabuk Provincial Office or by mail until 6 p.m. on January 16 next year. The final results will be individually notified after review by the Provincial Gender Equality Committee (scheduled for February).

The province plans to ensure transparency and fairness in project operation by applying criteria such as limiting support for the same organization and project to three years and excluding similar or duplicate projects from other institutions.

Kim Jung, head of the Women and Family Department of Jeollabuk Province, expressed hope for a variety of practical and creative gender equality projects to be discovered, stating that they will continue to pursue gender equality policies that residents can feel.

This year, nine organizations were selected and received support of approximately 70 million won, with programs such as campaigns to prevent prostitution, education on preventing digital sexual crimes, and improving adolescent sexual sensitivity being implemented.
