부안예술회관, 한국소리문화의전당 등 도내 5개 문예회관이 ‘2026년 문예회관 특성화 지원 사업’ 공모를 통과해 총 5억 3천만 원의 공연 제작비를 지원받는다.

한국문화예술회관연합회(이하 코카카)는 ‘2026년 문예회관 특성화 지원 사업’ 공모를 통해 전국 17개 시도 문예회관 총 95개를 선정했다고 28일 발표했다.

전국 17개 시도, 117개 문예회관에서 접수된 121개 프로그램을 대상으로 프레젠테이션 심사를 진행한 결과 ▴신작 공연콘텐츠 제작 37개, ▴기존 레퍼토리 정착 19개, ▴시리즈·축제 기획 39개 등 총 95개 문예회관이 선정됐다.

전북에서는 부안예술회관(창작뮤지컬 ‘소금위에 새긴 시간, 곰소’·1억 3천만 원), 군산예술의 전당(꼬마 해적단과 보물섬·9천만 원), 남원 청아원(만복사, 첫눈에 남은 이야기·1억1천만 원), 완주향토예술문화회관(완주 인형극 페스타·9천만 원), 한국소리문화의전당(K-컬처 프로젝트 ‘태권유랑단, 녹두·1억1천만 원)이 뽑혔다.

2025년에 이어 2년 차를 맞은 이번 사업은 문예회관을 공연 콘텐츠의 기획·제작과 브랜드화를 주도하는 지역 공연예술 거점으로 육성하는 것을 목표로 한다. 올해는 전년 대비 4배 확대된 총 100억 원 규모로, 신작 공연콘텐츠 제작부터 기존 레퍼토리 정착, 시리즈·축제 기획 등 공연 콘텐츠의 발굴–육성–정착 전 단계를 포괄하는 통합 지원체계로 확대 개편됐다.

'2025 Taekwondo Wanderers Nokdu' Selected as the Korean Sound Culture Hall for the Second Consecutive Year

Five cultural arts centers in the province, including Buan Arts Center and the Korean Sound Culture Hall, have passed the '2026 Cultural Arts Center Specialization Support Project' competition and will receive a total of 530 million won in performance production support.

The Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association (hereinafter referred to as KOCACA) announced on the 28th that through the '2026 Cultural Arts Center Specialization Support Project' competition, a total of 95 out of 17 municipal cultural arts centers nationwide were selected.

A total of 121 programs submitted from 117 cultural arts centers in 17 provinces were subject to presentation evaluations, resulting in the selection of 95 cultural arts centers, including 37 for the production of new performance contents, 19 for establishing existing repertoires, and 39 for series and festival planning.

In Jeollabuk-do, Buan Arts Center (original musical 'Time Engraved on Salt, Gomso' - 130 million won), Gunsan Arts Center (Little Pirate Troupe and Treasure Island - 90 million won), Namwon Cheongawon (Manboksa, Stories Left at First Snow - 110 million won), Wanju Indigenous Arts and Culture Center (Wanju Puppet Theater Fiesta - 90 million won), and the Korean Sound Culture Hall (K-Culture Project 'Taekwondo Wanderers Nokdu' - 110 million won) were selected.

In its second year following 2025, this year's project aims to foster cultural arts centers as regional performing arts hubs that lead in planning, producing, and branding performance contents. With a total budget of 10 billion won, four times larger than the previous year, the project has been expanded and reorganized into an integrated support system that covers the entire process of discovering, nurturing, and establishing performance contents, from producing new performance contents to establishing existing repertoires, and planning series and festivals.
