완주문화관광재단은 오는 28일 오후 2시 복합문화지구 누에 아트홀 중앙홀에서 「사이:예술학교」 성과공유 포럼 ‘장애예술교육, 다음을 묻다’를 개최한다.

이번 포럼은 2023년부터 4년간 진행된 「사이:예술학교」의 경험을 돌아보고 지역 장애예술교육의 향후 방향과 공공의 역할을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

「사이:예술학교」는 장애인을 문화예술교육의 단순 참여자가 아닌 예술적 표현의 주체로 보고, 예술가와 참여기관, 참여자가 함께 교육과정을 만들어가는 과정 중심의 장애예술교육 프로젝트다.

포럼에서는 4년간 멘토로 참여한 문해주 멘토가 과정 중심 장애예술교육의 의미와 변화를 발표하고, 국립공주대학교 홍혜전 교수가 지역 장애예술교육 사례를 중심으로 지속가능한 장애예술교육의 방향과 공공의 역할을 제안한다.

지정토론에는 참여예술가 강나루·소라엘·한용희, 참여기관 담당자 권남기, 교육 참여자 김정진·양단영이 참여해 현장에서 경험한 변화와 향후 과제를 논의한다.

포럼에 앞서 오후 1시 30분부터는 성과공유주간 전시 「여러, 다양한, 갖가지 [사이]」 전시 라운딩도 진행된다. 전시는 오는 31일까지 누에 아트홀에서 열린다.

정철우 완주문화관광재단 상임이사는 “지난 4년간 현장에서 쌓은 경험을 바탕으로 앞으로의 장애예술교육을 함께 이야기하는 자리가 될 것”이라며 지역 주민과 관련 종사자들의 참여를 당부했다.

포럼은 누구나 무료로 참여할 수 있다.

Wanju Cultural Tourism Foundation will hold a forum on the achievements of "Sai: Art School" titled "Questioning the Future of Disability Arts Education" at the Nue Art Hall Central Hall in the Complex Cultural Zone on the 28th at 2 p.m.

This forum was organized to reflect on the experiences of "Sai: Art School," which has been conducted for four years starting from 2023, and to discuss the future direction of local disability arts education and the role of the public.

"Sai: Art School" regards individuals with disabilities not merely as participants in cultural arts education but as subjects of artistic expression. It is a disability arts education project centered on the process where artists, participating organizations, and participants collaboratively create the educational process.

During the forum, mentor Moon Hae-ju, who has participated as a mentor for four years, will present the meaning and changes in process-centered disability arts education. Professor Hong Hye-jeon from Chungnam National University will propose the direction of sustainable disability arts education and the role of the public, focusing on local cases of disability arts education.

In the panel discussion, participating artists Kang Na-ru, Sora El, Han Yong-hee, representative of participating organizations Kwon Nam-gi, and education participants Kim Jung-jin and Yang Dan-young will discuss the changes and future tasks experienced on-site.

Prior to the forum, a roundtable exhibition titled "Various, Diverse, Various [Sai]" will also be held from 1:30 p.m. The exhibition will be open at the Nue Art Hall until the 31st.

Jung Cheol-woo, Executive Director of Wanju Cultural Tourism Foundation, stated, "Based on the experiences accumulated in the field over the past four years, this will be an opportunity to discuss the future of disability arts education together," and urged the participation of local residents and relevant practitioners.

The forum is open to everyone free of charge.
