한국장애인개발원 전북특별자치도장애아동·발달장애인지원센터(센터장 백재경)는 11일부터 15일까지 전주·군산·익산 등 도내 3개 권역에서 장애아가족양육지원사업에 참여하는 장애아돌보미를 대상으로 ‘장애아동지원센터 사업 설명회’를 실시한다.

이번 설명회는 장애아동지원센터의 역할과 주요 사업에 대한 현장 종사자의 이해를 높이기 위해 추진됐다. 11일 군산을 시작으로 14일 전주, 15일 익산에서 순차적으로 열리며, 전북지역 장애아돌보미 총 340명이 참석한다.

설명회에서는 장애아동지원센터의 역할과 장애아동 지원의 필요성을 설명하고, 장애아동 개인별지원계획과 영유아 조기개입서비스, 발달장애인지원사업 등을 안내한다.

특히 장애아동과 가족을 일상에서 지속적으로 만나는 장애아돌보미가 지원이 필요한 가정을 조기에 확인할 수 있도록 관련 사업 정보를 제공한다. 필요할 경우 전북센터 상담과 관련 서비스로 연계하는 방법도 설명한다.

설명회에 참석한 한 장애아돌보미는 “아이들을 돌보면서도 장애아동과 가족이 이용할 수 있는 지원사업을 자세히 알지 못했던 부분이 있었는데, 이번 설명회를 통해 개인별지원계획이나 영유아 조기개입서비스 등 새로운 사업을 알게 됐다”며 “앞으로 돌봄 현장에서 도움이 필요한 가족에게 관련 정보를 안내하는 데 도움이 될 것 같다”고 말했다.

전북센터 백재경 센터장은 “장애아돌보미는 장애아동과 가족의 일상을 가까이에서 지원하는 지역사회 돌봄 인력”이라며 “이번 설명회를 통해 현장 종사자들이 장애아동지원센터의 역할과 지원사업을 이해하고, 도움이 필요한 장애아동과 가족에게 관련 정보를 안내해 필요한 서비스로 연계할 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.

한편, 한편 전북센터는 장애아동 개인별지원계획, 영유아 조기개입서비스 등 장애아동과 가족을 위한 지원사업을 운영하고 있다. 또한 장애아동지원센터의 역할과 사업을 알리기 위해 도내 유관기관과 종사자를 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 사업 설명회’를 운영하고 있으며, 설명회를 희망하는 기관은 전북센터(063-715-2624)로 문의하면 된다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Disability Children and Developmental Disability Support Center of the Korea Disability Development Institute (Director Baek Jae-kyung) will be holding a "Disability Children Support Center Business Explanation Meeting" for disability child caregivers participating in the disability child family support project in three regions within the province, including Jeonju, Gunsan, and Iksan, from the 11th to the 15th.

This explanation meeting is being conducted to enhance the understanding of on-site practitioners about the role and major projects of the disability children support center. Starting in Gunsan on the 11th, it will sequentially take place in Jeonju on the 14th and Iksan on the 15th, with a total of 340 disability child caregivers from Jeonbuk region attending.

During the meeting, the roles of the disability children support center and the necessity of support for disability children will be explained, along with guidance on individual support plans for disabled children, early childhood intervention services, and developmental disability support projects.

In particular, caregivers who continuously encounter disabled children and families in their daily lives will be provided with relevant project information to identify families in need of support early. They will also be informed about how to connect with counseling and related services at the Jeonbuk Center if needed.

One caregiver who attended the meeting said, "While taking care of the children, there were aspects where I was not familiar with the support programs available for disabled children and families. Through this meeting, I learned about new programs such as individual support plans and early childhood intervention services," and added, "It seems like it will be helpful to guide families in need of assistance with relevant information in caregiving settings."

Director Baek Jae-kyung of the Jeonbuk Center stated, "Caregivers for disabled children are local community care personnel who support the daily lives of disabled children and families up close," and expressed hope that through this explanation meeting, on-site practitioners will understand the role and support projects of the disability children support center and be able to provide relevant information to families in need and connect them with necessary services.
