전북특별자치도는 도내 장애인복지관 종사자의 전문성을 높이고 사기를 진작하기 위해 정책 세미나와 한마음대회를 개최했다고 15일 밝혔다.

전북특별자치도는 지난 7일부터 8일까지 진안에서 장애인복지관 종사자 120여 명이 참여한 정책 세미나를 개최한 데 이어, 15일에는 김제에서 종사자 350여 명이 함께하는 한마음대회를 열어 정책 역량 강화와 기관 간 소통·화합의 시간을 마련했다.

먼저 정책 세미나는 산림조합중앙회 진안교육원에서 장애인복지정책에 대한 이해를 높이고 정부의 주요 정책 방향을 공유하기 위해 진행됐다. 기념식과 유공자 표창을 비롯해 정책 특강과 포럼, 체험활동 등이 이어졌다.

특히 장애인 개인예산제와 장애인복지관의 역할 재정립 등 주요 정책을 공유하고, 변화하는 복지환경에 대응하기 위한 종사자들의 정책 이해도와 실무 역량을 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다.

이어 15일 김제시체육관에서 열린 한마음대회에는 도내 장애인복지관 종사자 350여 명이 참여했다. 이번 행사는 장애인복지 현장에서 헌신하는 종사자들을 격려하고, 기관 간 인적 네트워크와 협력체계를 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에서는 기념식과 유공자 표창을 통해 장애인복지 증진에 기여한 종사자들의 노고를 격려했다. 이어 복지관별 단합대회와 한마음 경기대회 등을 통해 서로 교류하며 화합과 유대감을 다지는 시간을 가졌다.

전북특별자치도는 이번 두 행사가 장애인복지관 종사자들의 정책 대응 역량을 높이고, 기관 간 교류와 협력을 활성화해 도민이 체감하는 복지서비스의 질을 높이는 계기가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

장은숙 전북특별자치도 장애인복지정책과장은 “장애인복지 현장의 중심에는 이용자들의 일상과 삶의 질 향상을 위해 노력하는 종사자들이 있다”며 “앞으로도 종사자들의 전문성 향상과 근무 의욕 제고를 위한 지원을 강화하고, 현장의 목소리를 정책에 반영해 장애인이 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 복지서비스를 제공하도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Starting from the 7th to the 8th in Jinan, a policy seminar was held with the participation of around 120 disabled welfare facility workers. Following this, on the 15th, a unity event was organized in Gimje with around 350 workers participating, providing a platform for strengthening policy capabilities, inter-organizational communication, and harmony.

The policy seminar, held at the Jinan Education Center of the Forestry Cooperative Central Association, aimed to increase understanding of disabled welfare policies and share the government's key policy directions. The event included a ceremony, honoring of contributors, policy lectures, forums, and experiential activities.

In particular, the seminar focused on sharing key policies such as the individual budget system for the disabled and redefining the role of disabled welfare facilities, aiming to enhance workers' understanding and practical skills to adapt to the changing welfare environment.

The unity event on the 15th at the Gimje Sports Center brought together over 350 disabled welfare facility workers from the province. The event aimed to encourage workers dedicated to disabled welfare on the field and strengthen inter-organizational networks and cooperation systems.

During the event, contributors to the advancement of disabled welfare were recognized through ceremonies and awards. Subsequently, through events like joint meetings and unity sports competitions, participants had the opportunity to interact, fostering harmony and solidarity.

Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province expects that these two events will enhance the policy response capabilities of disabled welfare facility workers, activate inter-organizational exchanges and cooperation, and ultimately improve the quality of welfare services perceived by the residents.

Jang Eun-sook, head of the Disability Welfare Policy Department at Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, stated, "At the core of the disabled welfare field are workers who strive to improve the daily lives and quality of life of users." She added, "We will continue to enhance support for the improvement of workers' professionalism and work enthusiasm, reflect the voices from the field in policies, and do our best to provide substantial welfare services that the disabled can feel and experience."
