양현고등학교가 19일 전북대학교 영어영문학과와 영어 예비교사 파견을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 이번 협약을 통해 학생들의 영어 실력 향상과 진로 탐색을 지원하는 교육 프로그램이 본격 운영된다.

협약의 목표는 지역 인재를 글로벌 인재로 성장시키는 ‘글로컬(Glocal) 인재 양성’으로, 예비교사들이 실생활과 연계된 영어 수업을 진행할 예정이다. 또한, 고등학생 눈높이에 맞춘 진로 탐색 프로그램을 통해 대학 생활과 미래 직업 선택에 대한 유용한 정보도 제공된다.

전북대 관계자는 “예비교사들이 실질적인 교육 경험을 쌓고 지역 교육 발전에 기여할 기회”라며 지속적인 협력을 약속했다. 이원형 교장은 “학생들이 국제적 감각을 키울 수 있도록 맞춤형 교육을 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Yanghyun High School signed a business agreement with the English Language and Literature Department of Jeonbuk University on the 19th for dispatching English prospective teachers. Through this agreement, an educational program supporting students' English proficiency improvement and career exploration will be officially implemented.

The goal of the agreement is to foster 'glocal talents,' transforming local talents into global talents, with prospective teachers conducting English classes integrated with real-life situations. Additionally, a career exploration program tailored to high school students will be provided, offering useful information on university life and future career choices.

A Jeonbuk University official promised continuous cooperation, stating, "Prospective teachers will have the opportunity to gain practical educational experience and contribute to the development of local education." Principal Lee Won-hyung expressed, "We will expand tailored education to enhance students' international sensibility."
