전통놀이 교육 활성화를 위해 전주문화재단과 전주비전대학교가 손을 맞잡았다.

전주문화재단(이사장 우범기)과 전주비전대학교(총장 우병훈)는 지난 19일 전주비전대학교에서 우병훈 총장과 최락기 전주문화재단 대표이사 등 양 기관 관계들이 참석한 가운데 ‘전통놀이 교육 활성화를 위한 산학협력 협약(MOU)’을 체결했다.

이번 협약에 따라 두 기관은 ▲취업정보 제공 및 전문 인력 채용 지원 ▲사회사업(위탁, 설립)의 공동 제안 및 운영 지원 ▲자원봉사 및 현장실습 지원 ▲학생 특강 및 기관 견학지원 등 기타 필요에 대해 상호 협력해 나가기로 했다.

특히 전주비전대 유아교육과 학생들은 전주문화재단이 운영하는 ‘우리놀이터 마루달’에서 전통놀이 교육 봉사활동을 진행하게 된다. 또한 유아교육 현장에서 전통놀이를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있도록 프로그램을 개발하고 보급하는 데 앞장설 예정이다.

이영주 전주비전대 유아교육과 교수는 “이번 협약을 통해 예비교사와 현직 유아 교사들이 교육 봉사활동과 문화체험을 활성화하고, 지역 문화예술 교육에 대한 이해를 높이는 계기가 되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

최락기 전주문화재단 대표는 “전통놀이는 오랜 시간 이어져 온 소중한 문화유산”이라며 “이번 협약을 통해 보다 많은 아이들에게 전통놀이를 전할 수 있는 계기가 됐으면 한다”고 말했다.

To promote traditional play education, Jeonju Cultural Foundation and Jeonju Vision University have joined hands.

On the 19th, at Jeonju Vision University, Jeonju Cultural Foundation (Chairman Woo Beom-gi) and Jeonju Vision University (President Woo Byeong-hoon) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for "Industry-Academia Cooperation for the Activation of Traditional Play Education," with President Woo Byeong-hoon and Choi Rak-gi, the representative director of Jeonju Cultural Foundation, and officials from both organizations in attendance.

According to this agreement, the two institutions agreed to cooperate on various aspects such as providing job information and supporting the recruitment of professional personnel, jointly proposing and supporting the operation of social projects (outsourcing, establishment), supporting volunteer work and on-site training, providing special lectures for students, and supporting institution visits, among other necessary areas.

In particular, students majoring in early childhood education at Jeonju Vision University will conduct volunteer activities for traditional play education at "Our Playground Marudal," operated by Jeonju Cultural Foundation. They also plan to take the lead in developing and promoting programs to effectively utilize traditional play in early childhood education settings.

Professor Lee Young-joo of Jeonju Vision University's early childhood education department expressed hope that through this agreement, prospective teachers and current early childhood educators would activate educational volunteer activities and cultural experiences, thereby increasing understanding of local cultural arts education.

Choi Rak-gi, the representative of Jeonju Cultural Foundation, stated, "Traditional play is a precious cultural heritage that has been passed down for a long time," and expressed his hope that through this agreement, it would serve as an opportunity to pass on traditional play to more children.
