아동친화도시 완주군이 오는 18일까지 3주간 ‘2025년 완주군 청소년 활동 지도자 역량강화 교육’을 실시한다.

이번 교육은 내년부터 본격화되는 어린이·청소년의회 활동을 앞두고, 청소년 활동 지도자들의 의회 이해도 제고와 지도 역량 강화를 위해 마련됐다.

교육에는 정건희 청소년자치연구소장이 강연자로 참여해 청소년의 주체성과 참여의 중요성을 강조했다. 군은 향후 청소년들이 인식하는 지역사회 문제와 그 해결 방안을 어린이·청소년의회를 통해 심도 있게 논의할 계획이다.

유희태 완주군수는 “아동과 청소년이 지역사회의 주체로 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 참여 기회를 제공하고, 이를 뒷받침할 지도자 교육도 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 밝혔다.

This training is designed to enhance the understanding of youth councils, which will be officially launched next year, and to strengthen the leadership skills of youth activity leaders.

During the training, Jeong Geon-hee, the head of the Youth Autonomy Research Institute, emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and participation. The county plans to deeply discuss local community issues as perceived by youth and their solutions through the youth council in the future.

Yu Hee-tae, the mayor of Wanju County, stated, "We will continue to expand various participation opportunities to allow children and youth to grow as leaders in the local community, and will consistently enhance leader training to support this."
