군산시가 공무원의 디지털 역량 강화를 위해 생성형 AI 교육, 정보화 교육, 공공데이터 활용 확대 등 데이터 기반 행정 혁신에 나선다.

시는 9일부터 11일까지 부서 및 읍면동 담당자 100여 명을 대상으로 보고서·보도자료 작성, 데이터 분석 등 실무 중심의 생성형 AI 활용 교육을 실시한다. 이는 단순 기술 소개를 넘어 행정서비스의 속도와 질을 높이는 실용적인 내용으로 구성됐다.

또한 4월부터 11월까지 엑셀, 파워포인트, 유튜브 영상 제작, 미리캔버스를 활용한 홍보물 제작 등 총 7개 과정의 정보화 교육도 병행된다.

이와 함께 공공데이터 Open API를 활용한 서비스 자동화도 추진된다. 지역화폐 가맹점 정보 제공, 등기번호 조회 등 기존 수작업 업무가 자동화돼 처리 시간이 10초 이내로 단축될 전망이다.

시 관계자는 “디지털 기술을 활용한 이번 교육과 서비스 개선이 시민이 체감할 수 있는 행정 혁신으로 이어지도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Kunsan City is taking the lead in data-driven administrative innovation by enhancing the digital capabilities of its public officials through initiatives such as generative AI education, IT training, and expanding the use of public data.

From the 9th to the 11th, the city will conduct practical generative AI training for around 100 department and district officials, focusing on report and press release writing, data analysis, and other practical applications to improve the speed and quality of administrative services.

In addition, from April to November, parallel IT training will be provided in seven courses including Excel, PowerPoint, YouTube video production, and promotional material creation using Miro and Canva.

Furthermore, there will be efforts to automate services using the Open API of public data. It is expected that tasks such as providing information on local currency franchise stores and searching for registration numbers, which were previously done manually, will be automated, reducing processing time to less than 10 seconds.

A city official stated, "We will do our best to ensure that this education and service improvement utilizing digital technology lead to administrative innovation that citizens can feel and appreciate."
