국립민속국악원(원장 김중현)은 오는 19일 오후 2시 국립민속국악원 예음헌에서 2025년 판소리마당 <소리 판-완창무대>의 첫 공연으로 소리꾼 양은주의 ‘미산제 수궁가’ 완창 무대를 선보인다.

‘소리 판-완창무대’는 완창이라는 전통 형식을 통해 판소리 다섯 바탕의 서사 구조와 음악적 깊이를 고스란히 전달함으로써, 판소리의 원형성과 예술적 특성을 온전히 무대에 담아내고자 마련된 기획공연이다.

첫 무대의 주인공 소리꾼 양은주는 제42회 춘향국악대전 판소리 명창부 대통령상 수상자이자, 현재 국립민속국악원 창극단의 지도단원으로 활동하고 있다.

이번 공연에서는 ‘미산제 수궁가’ 전 바탕을 완창하며, 동편제의 힘과 서편제의 섬세함이 조화된 미산제 특유의 균형 잡힌 소리로 수궁가의 해학과 풍자를 깊이 있게 담아내어 관객에게 전할 예정이다.

The National Gugak Center (Director Kim Joonghyun) will present the first performance of the 2025 Pansori Courtyard featuring the complete singing of the song 'Misange Sugungga' by singer Yang Eunju at the Yeumheon Hall of the National Gugak Center on the 19th at 2 p.m.

The 'Sound Pan-Wanchang Stage' is a planned performance that aims to fully embody the originality and artistic characteristics of Pansori on stage by delivering the narrative structure of Pansori's five basic backgrounds and its musical depth through the traditional form of Wanchang.

The protagonist of the first stage, singer Yang Eunju, is the recipient of the President's Award for Pansori Masters at the 42nd Chunhyang Gugak Competition and is currently an instructor at the National Gugak Center's Changgeukdan.

In this performance, she will sing the entire background of 'Misange Sugungga,' capturing the satire and humor of Sugungga with the balanced sound unique to Misange, harmonizing the power of Dongpyeonje and the delicacy of Seopyeonje.

The performance will be directed by Jo Yongan, who won the President's Award at the National Masters Competition (currently the Artistic Director of Jeonnam Provincial Gugak Orchestra).
