공모 주제는 ‘장애’이며, 전공과 관계없이 대학생(재학생 및 휴학생)이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 참가자는 박사학위 소지자를 슈퍼바이저(논문지도자)로 포함해야 하며, 개인 또는 팀(최대 4명)으로 구성할 수 있다.

대회 주요 일정으로는 오는 5월 23일(금)까지 논문계획서를 접수한 뒤, 6월 9일(월) 본선 진출팀을 발표하며, 8월 11일(월)까지 최종 논문을 제출해야 한다. 본선 논문경진대회와 시상식은 8월 27일(수)에 진행될 예정이다. 시상 내역은 대상 1편에 보건복지부 장관상과 상금 150만 원, 최우수상 1편에 한국장애인재단 이사장상과 상금 100만 원, 우수상 1편에 한국장애인재단 우수상과 상금 50만 원이 각각 수여된다.

접수는 한국장애인재단 홈페이지(www.kfpd.org)에서 신청 후, 양식 파일을 작성해 이메일(research@kfpd.org)로 제출하면 된다. 논문계획서 외에도 개인정보동의서, 재학/휴학 증명서, 슈퍼바이저 학위 증명서 등이 필요하다.

The '2025 College Student Thesis Competition', hosted by the Korea Foundation for Persons with Disabilities and sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, is accepting thesis proposals until May 23. This competition is designed to support innovative interpretations and interdisciplinary research in the field of disabilities, and to discover advanced researchers in the field of disabilities.

The theme of the competition is 'disabilities', and any university student (enrolled or on leave) regardless of their major can participate. Participants must include a Ph.D. holder as a supervisor (thesis advisor) and can form a team of up to four members.

The key schedule of the competition includes submitting thesis proposals by May 23 (Friday), announcing the teams advancing to the finals on June 9 (Monday), and submitting the final thesis by August 11 (Monday). The final thesis competition and award ceremony will be held on August 27 (Wednesday). The awards include one grand prize with the Minister of Health and Welfare Award and a prize of 1.5 million won, one excellence award with the Chairman's Award from the Korea Foundation for Persons with Disabilities and a prize of 1 million won, and one outstanding award with the Excellence Award from the Korea Foundation for Persons with Disabilities and a prize of 500,000 won.

In addition to the thesis proposal, a consent form for personal information, proof of enrollment/leave of absence, and supervisor's degree certificate are required.
