전북교육청은 학생들의 창의력과 문제해결 능력 강화를 위해 도내 영재교육기관, 발명교육센터, 미래창작공방을 대상으로 컨설팅을 추진한다고 19일 밝혔다.

컨설팅 대상은 도내 15개 시군 교육지원청의 발명교육센터·미래창작공방, 직속기관 1곳의 미래창작공방, 전북교육청이 승인한 28개 영재교육기관으로, 오는 11월까지 서면 점검과 현장 방문을 병행해 운영 실태를 점검한다.

발명교육센터와 미래창작공방은 기자재 관리, 안전 점검, 프로그램 운영 현황 등을, 영재교육기관은 학생 선발과정, 교육과정, 예산, 평가 체계 등을 중점적으로 진단한다.

전북교육청은 이번 컨설팅 결과를 바탕으로 효율적 운영 방안을 마련하고, 2026년 교육계획 수립에 활용할 계획이다. 문형심 창의인재교육과장은 “현장의 목소리를 반영한 내실 있는 컨설팅을 통해 창의융합형 인재 양성 기반을 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 19th that it is pushing for consultations with local gifted education institutions, invention education centers, and future creative workshops to enhance students' creativity and problem-solving abilities.

The consultation targets include the invention education centers and future creative workshops of 15 city and county education support offices in the province, one future creative workshop under a direct agency, and 28 gifted education institutions approved by the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education. Until November, they will conduct inspections through written assessments and on-site visits to examine the operational status.

The consultations will focus on equipment management, safety inspections, program operation status for the invention education centers and future creative workshops, and on student selection processes, educational programs, budgets, evaluation systems for the gifted education institutions.

Based on the results of these consultations, the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education plans to establish efficient operational methods and utilize them in formulating the educational plans for 2026. Moon Hyeong-sim, head of the Creative Talent Education Department, stated, "Through substantive consultations that reflect the voices from the field, we will strengthen the foundation for nurturing creative and integrated talents."
