전북교육청은 지난 4월 초부터 5월 중순까지 도내 학원·교습소를 대상으로 어린이통학버스 합동점검을 실시하고 이를 완료했다고 27일 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 각 교육지원청을 중심으로 경찰서와 한국교통안전공단 지역본부가 참여해 기관별 역할을 분담하며 통학버스 안전관리 강화를 도모했다.

점검 결과, 모든 점검 대상 시설에서 운전자 및 동승자에 대한 안전교육 이수가 정상적으로 이뤄졌고, 통학버스 운행기록도 모두 작성·제출된 것으로 확인됐다. 통학버스 안전장치에 대한 점검도 이뤄졌으며, 필요한 조치는 모두 완료됐다.

전북교육청은 “앞으로도 통학버스 안전관리 실태를 지속적으로 점검해 학생 안전을 철저히 확보해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 27th that it had conducted a joint inspection of children's commuting buses for academies and private institutes within the province from early April to mid-May and completed the process.

This inspection, centered around each educational support office, involved the participation of local police stations and the regional headquarters of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, with each organization taking on specific roles to enhance the management of safety on school buses.

According to the inspection results, safety education for drivers and passengers was conducted as required at all inspected facilities, and records of school bus operations were properly maintained and submitted. Inspections of safety devices on the school buses were also carried out, and all necessary measures were confirmed to have been completed.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education stated, "We will continue to conduct regular inspections of school bus safety management practices to thoroughly ensure student safety in the future."
