군산시 월명동 행정복지센터(동장 김영효)는 26일 (사)군산시장애인연합회(회장 박경래)로부터 이웃돕기 성금 50만 원을 기탁받았다고 밝혔다.

이번 기탁은 지역 내 경제적 어려움을 겪는 이웃들에게 따뜻한 위로와 희망을 전하기 위해 마련됐다.

군산시장애인연합회는 지체장애인협회, 시각장애인협회 등 8개 단체가 소속된 대표 조직으로, 장애인의 권익 보호와 사회 참여 확대를 위한 활동을 꾸준히 펼쳐오고 있다.

박경래 회장은 “앞으로도 나눔을 실천하며 지역사회에 보탬이 되는 단체가 되겠다”고 밝혔으며, 김영효 동장은 “기탁 성금은 전북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 취약계층에 소중히 전달하겠다”고 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

The administrative welfare center in Wolmyeong-dong, Gunsan City (Head Kim Young-hyo) announced on the 26th that they received a donation of 500,000 won for neighborly assistance from the Gunsan Association of the Disabled (Chairman Park Gyeong-rae).

This donation was made to provide warm comfort and hope to neighbors experiencing economic difficulties in the local community.

The Gunsan Association of the Disabled is a representative organization composed of 8 groups including the Association for the Physically Disabled and the Association for the Visually Impaired, and has been consistently working to protect the rights of the disabled and promote their social participation.

Chairman Park Gyeong-rae stated, "We will continue to practice sharing and become an organization that supports the local community," while Head Kim Young-hyo expressed gratitude, saying, "The donated funds will be carefully delivered to vulnerable groups in the region through the Jeonbuk Social Welfare Joint Fundraising Association."
