국립군산대학교가 교육부 주관 ‘2025~2026년 고교교육 기여대학 지원사업’에 최종 선정됐다. 이로써 군산대는 10년 연속으로 해당 사업에 이름을 올리며 공교육 강화형 대입전형 운영 대학으로 입지를 다졌다.

고교교육 기여대학 지원사업은 공정하고 투명한 대입전형 운영, 수험생의 입시 부담 완화, 고교교육 내실화를 목적으로 2014년부터 시행돼 왔다.

군산대는 지역 고교와의 협력 프로그램 운영과 공정한 전형 운영 실적을 높이 평가받아 선정됐으며, 2026년까지 약 5억8000만 원의 국고를 지원받는다.

학교는 이번 사업을 통해 ▲입학사정관 교육 및 훈련 강화 ▲지역 고교와의 협력 확대 ▲전형 운영의 질적 개선을 추진하고, 이를 바탕으로 공교육 중심의 대입전형 모델을 실현해 나간다는 계획이다.

김종길 입학처장은 “이번 선정은 고교 연계 활동과 공정한 입학전형 운영에 대한 성과”라며 “수험생과 학부모가 신뢰할 수 있는 입시 환경 조성을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The High School Education Contribution University Support Project has been implemented since 2014 with the aim of operating a fair and transparent admissions system, alleviating the burden on exam-takers, and enhancing the quality of high school education.

Gunsan University was selected based on its high evaluation of cooperative programs with local high schools and fair admissions system operation, and will receive approximately 580 million won in government support until 2026.

Through this project, the university plans to promote ▲ strengthening of admissions officer education and training ▲ expansion of cooperation with local high schools ▲ qualitative improvement in admissions system operation, and aims to realize a model of admissions system centered on public education.

Kim Jong-gil, the head of the admissions office, stated, "This selection is a result of our high school collaboration activities and fair admissions system operation," and added, "We will continue to make efforts to create an exam environment that exam-takers and parents can trust."
